I bought a Fossil bag one year ago and the leather is still very beautifull but all the handels are falling. The screws don't last... The garanty last only one year so I needed to go to a shoes repair store twice and it cost me a lot. I think they lowered their quality with the years. I will not buy another fossil bag for shure.

I've had it for about two years and it is holding up beautifully. I use it fairly often. I do regularly rub it down with Obenauf's because it makes the leather smell so good.

I thought I'd stop in and share my love for Fossil! Although I now own Coach as well, my Vintage Revival Tote remains by far my favorite leather bag. The leather is supple and a real work horse. I have the matching wallet and it has held up spectacularly. One of the girls I work with always comments on how beautiful the leather is and it has inspired me to share!

Adore Fossil. Great silhouettes, good leather, great functionality, meaningful sizes, and easy, easy to have as an every day bag. May not have the cachet of a specialty store boutique or big box upper end retailer, but try one. You will not want to take it off! I do not work for Fossil. After being a handbag designer for many years, I really appreciate what they do and how they create their beautiful product.
I like Fossil very much as well for their design. Their organizer bags are great for travel. I like the look of their sleek minimalist new direction but I am not sure they hold up as well as the old rugged-style bags. I have a Sydney shopper that hasn't been used much and the corners are already wearing. I also miss the cheerful retro prints of their old Keyper line, which I think they should have kept.
I bought my first fossil bag- preston backpack. And love it !! I usually buy bags with single straps. But, i am very glad that i bought this bag. The double straps distribute the weight of the bag evenly on my shoulders. Allows me to carry more things without hurting my back. Light and practical find

Why are isn't fossil a featured bag on purse blog? This is the only thread I could find on it? Is it because they aren't expensive enough? I love fossil!
They aren't singled out. If there aren't a lot of threads about a brand, they won't create a subforum. It has to do with popularity on the forum. LeSportsac used to have a forum when I joined, then it was eliminated. I've seen a Dooney subforum come & go a few times. There isn't a Kooba forum any more.
Oops sorry, Kooba was pushed a level down as Other Contemporary. - But there's lots of brands without subforums.
Im a HUGE Fossil fan! I do agree with most people that this brand is very underrated. Their handbags are very well made, extremely roomy and the leather isn't so heavy so it's really comfortable to carry. Love the feel of the leather. Oh and even their accessories! Fossil watches are to die for and so affordable.
Overall I love everything about this brand, can you tell? lol. I really like the Vintage look too. I started with a coin purse, then ended up with 2 watches, 3 purses and 2 wallets. I was actually wondering why there were no threads dedicated to Fossil? We should totally start one!

I have Fossil Bucket bag in light blue. And a blue bracelet that is really nice and looks more expensive that it is, but I cannot find the bracelet now. I will post photo of my bracelet if I found her.

I think technically this is the 'fossil thread' lol They do make nice bags, but like many other good brands, they cannot list them all.
