I am also a recent returner to Fossil. I have the little Memoir in the cross-body and shoulder style, and have the Dark Turquoise Sydney Shopper on my list. The leathers are nice, and I prefer their new, minimal styling.

The Memoir is a hidden gem! It is tiny but the organization is out of this world. Perfect for times when you can't or don't want to carry much.

Their leather quality and designs have definitely gotten better over the past few years. They definitely hold up! Love their new sleek logo instead of the oval or the key. Looks way more high end.

I have several of their bags and they are reasonably priced so you don't have to worry about babying them hehe

I bought a Fossil bag a couple of years ago on holiday and absolutely love it, it's a great casual weekend bag and I also use it on holidays as I can wear it across the body. Have taken a picture, it needs a bit of a clean however I have never babied it in anyway. Think Fossil definitely needs a sub forum! View attachment 2577845

I love your bag and the colors!

I have a Fossil Maddox Tapestry Satchel, the same as pictured below,it's my everyday and inclement weather bag and I love it.
The quality is excellent and after having it for I think nearly 2 years it still looks as good as new :smile1:

Hi there, I've been looking into fossil handbags lately and would like to know your opinions on the sydney satchel. My questions are especially related to its size, for example: would it hold a large wallet, small water bottle, small umbrella and an organizer? I really like the shape and colors this satchel comes in, but I'm doubting how much it can hold a/o if it will get too heavy on the shoulders when fully loaded.

I have to say I used to have a super low opinion of Fossil but after looking at this thread my curiosity was piqued and I looked at their website... WOW! They really have turned things around with the style. I used to find their rugged, squishy look a bit tiresome but they've now got structured colorful styles to rival Kate Spade (and probably with better leather)! When did this happen?!

Owned & enjoyed several different fossil designs over years--when one wore out, I'd buy another new.

Unfortunately, last bag wasn't the same pleasure to own--
Stanton traveler crossbody, in claret red (pic found online): http://images.countryoutfitter.com/images/photos/80882/80882_34859-stanton-traveler-cross-body-bag-claret-red_large.jpg

Though design concept was functional, strap's seams came loose quickly.
Leather's red dye & hardware's brass color wore away in < 2 years.
Metal fossil key was large & got in the way during use.

No such trouble with matching, leather wallet--which stayed fantastic, compared to bag.
But, both left & chose different brand--not ready to try again.
