im in toronto too .. so I had the same reaction as u ... im still waiting on my first B ... sigh ...
you r such a good husband. i wish my hubby will do the same thing for me in the future..
if u r in US, we don't know the % of the price increase til the 28th.. kelly and birkin are not something u can just walk into the store and buy.. black combo usually is hard to get as a lot of ppl want the same combo.. if u find one, get it.. same things goes for the leather.. unless you have a long purchase history with hermes then they mite do special order for u but usually it takes yrs to get it..
Thanks Greentea. I'm actually in Los Angeles as well. I'm in touch with some of her friends who might be able to help me, we'll see... For now, I'm settled with getting her a Birkin 35cm black.
I'm also heading to Paris for work in a couple of months. Is it easier or cheaper to get it there?
Cheaper yes, because of the weak Euro.
Easier? That depends on luck. Some members were lucky to score a bag in Paris, others were not.

Maybe for some items but bags will go up by 10% in NYC on the 28th (wed). Of course we are snowed in so I can't even make it to Hermes to make any last minute purchases!!!
Too bad that H.com didn't have much to pick from. I've seen this every year that they run the stock low online, intentionally so people can't load up. The day after the price increase is when new stock returns. I bet you that there will be a Kelly wallet by the end of the week.

I don't know if it's confirmed but thats what my SA told me. H was holding a bag for me and they told me that I have until Tues because on Wed there will be a 10% increase.

My SA told me about the 10% as well on bags. I've a couple of things that I want to get before the increase. I just can't stomach paying another $1K for the B.

Same here. We really shouldn't be looking at an increase in the US, given the strength of the dollar.Literally, I am stunned about a 10% price increase for a B/K.
I'll be in Paris for a month this summer, so I guess I'll start each day by heading to FSH.
