I’m brand new to Frye, I got my first bag in Feb from Dillard’s on line & the bag was on sale. I got my second in April through Frye also on sale.
I’ve never heard of a Frye outlet, but again I am new to the brand. I have seen Frye bags on line at Nordstrom rack and from what I’ve seen they are the bags that were sold at Frye, just maybe discontinued colors.

I have seen Frye & Co at Macy’s before and I’m not sure if those are made for Macy’s only, as I didn’t see them on the Frye website.

Here is the first bag I got: Melissa Shoulder Bag in Cognac.

Here’s the second: Melissa Zip Crossbody in Sunflower.

I really like the brand and these bags.

I’d suggest to do a search for Frye bags and see if you can find the specific one you are looking for and where it’s been sold before. That’s all I can think of to ensure it’s a made for Frye bag and not an outlet. Good luck! Frye is awesome!
Love your bags! I just re bought the Frye Melissa zip crossbody in Beige yesterday at Dillard’s. I had bought it a year or so ago but returns it bc the leather wasn’t consistent. Then I’d seen this one yesterday and she’s smooth all over, I couldn’t resist! Do you live your crossbody? 2BE8C30A-5026-4C8B-BBA5-6D8E7A255544.jpeg

@southernbelle82 This is a beautiful bag, I love the color. I hope you are enjoying it.
I haven’t really been using the crossbody much as it’s not as broken in as the shoulder bag. Of course without using it, it will take forever to break in. After seeing this though, I think I’m going to start again.
*still trying to figure out how to quote as I’ve always been an app user.

Thanks for responding! Yes, you should definitely pull yours back out, great size for summertime when it’s hot as your know where and we don’t want a big bag to lug around. I think you’ll fall back in love with her! I certainly have.

The only downside to Frye is their bags just don't hold their value. Current bags being sold by Belk for $250+ are legitimately available third party new with tags for half price. This usually happens when retailers push a brand to a certain price point that shopping audiences just don't support. They definitely have some attractive bags but buyers should know like with many brands such as Aimee Kestenberg for example, you may not be able resell it.

I personally like this bag from Frye

agree
I got mine new in box from a large ebay seller. so I didn't pay FP. I figure it would not be worth re-selling for me. I just fell in love with the leather and had to have it. My Jenny also came in a beautiful red color that I liked.
