any experience with ontrac shipping?

I'm waiting for a package. Seller apparently submitted the info to Ontrac yesterday (Sunday). Today nothing is updating. Ontrac tracking shows they don't have package yet.
Is this just like the USPS sometimes does where the item isn't always scanned?
or has it really not been picked up by Ontrac 36 hours after the seller submitted the info?

in case anyone else is interested, I can answer my own question now
package was delivered in one day (paid for regular shipping) ... no signature required but I was home so it's all good

I'm in San Diego area and shipper was also in San Diego. I ordered Sunday; they entered into system Sunday and package was delivered Tuesday.
