I bought a ring from Bulbar and I took it to my jeweler to test it. The ring was suppose to be 18k gold. It was tested 10K gold. When I got in touch with them, they told me I can return it, but they have to charge me 10% restocking fee. I will never buy from them anymore and I am 100% sure that the ring is fake.

It is my opinion that DY jewelry offered for sale at IBuyLuxury on Ebay is no more "authentic" than offering to sell the Brooklyn Bridge at a discount!
I own multiple David Yurman silver/gold pieces purchased from Neiman and Saks, but I too was lured by IBuyLuxury's guarantee and prices so I purchased a bracelet they claimed was authentic David Yurman. I had my doubts as soon as I opened it up. The clasp did not hold when worn. I took it to my local Neiman and Saks jewerly counters and compared it to identical bracelets in the case.....proved my suspicions.....big Fake! I had a few emails with IBL and they did agree to take it back, less a percentage. Lesson learned on my end. Common sense should have been apparent that no one seller should have access to that much merchandise and claim it is "authentic David Yurman" or any other designer, for that matter. David Yurman Inc ONLY sell their pieces through reputable dealers. Honestly, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually isn't true. I am sure there are a few honest sellers on Ebay that do have authentic pieces for sale. You have to do your best to determine if you are being duped, or not, by asking as many questions as you need. After all is said and done, you have to be comfortable with your decision. That is the risk you take when buying anything on the internet. Just because they have some really "slick" internet storefront does does not make them reputable. Anyone can set up a website to look authentic, so if you have some doubts, go with your instincts.

I ordered a David Yurman necklace and pendant for Christmas and the initial transaction was timely and satisfactory. I noticed that the necklace I received was alot lighter than your typical Yurman, the figero links were all different shapes, and the grooves were really uneven. I wanted to exchange the pendant for another and was asked to ship my current pendant to another customer with a different return address. I thought this sounded funny but thought this is how they save money, so I went along with it because I was told I would get the replacement as soon as the original was received by the other customer and would receive a credit for the difference. After I shipped the pendant I provided the shipping info to the owner of the company and found out she sold the replacement I was exchanging for, but I would have one within the week. Emails were traded and I kept getting the runaround. Then I stopped getting response emails. When I called the owner I was told they had email server problems and that I shipped the wrong pendant but she had mine on the way. So if she would have looked at her records she would have seen which pendant I bought. Keep in mind this is 3 weeks later and I had enough and demanded a refund. Well that didn't set well with the owner and we went rounds about my refund. I was told I would pay a 10% restocking fee that I disputed because NO ONE RESTOCKED A THING! When I got my refund it was over $100 short so I suspected something was wrong. I took the necklace to 2 authorized Yurman dealers and you can guess what I was told. I was irate and spoke with DY customer service about the issue and asked for advice. They said I should have received a certificate of authenticity from IBUYLUXURY.com so I contacted the owner again. She said she would give me a refund if I had a certified letter saying the necklace was fake, but if this happened she would sue the authorized dealers and subpeona me! REALLY???? Obviously the local DY dealers don't want to deal with this and I understand.
Even if the DY is authentic, this business has no idea how to handle customer needs. I had to provide tracking info and transaction ID's for everything and they had no records of my purchases in their database in the end. Luckily I have kept records of everything. So for legal reasons I can't say the stuff I bought was fake, but I can say SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ALSEWHERE!!!!! IBUYLUXURY.com will never get my business again.

Oh no, I purchased one or two DY items here, i assumed they were authentic, now i am worried, it has been too long to return them. They looked and felt authentic to me though.. GRR

I purchased a ring from them and was very happy, I took it to Yurman and it looked exactly the same and the weight was there. But if you aren't comfortable, pay the retail at Yurman's or a department store.

There is a David Yurman outlet in Vegas. If you know what you want call them and see if they have it. I believe they will ship. I woudn't trust buying on ebay.

Here is the disclaimer on their website.

I have a friend at David Yurman and this is where he told me to buy. He told me there is no way their merchandise is fake. They wouldn't legally be able to use the name or likeness if it was and they'd be arrested. They're not running a stand on Canal Street. They are very easy to find. You can buy from them with confidence.

Honestly, this makes no sense. If this were the case, wouldn't every single person selling fake anything on eBay be thrown in jail? What about the thousands of websites selling fake purses, shoes, jewelry? And your friend who works at DY really told you to buy from a reseller on eBay? I very seriously doubt that. I said it before in this thread and I'll say it again: I own several pieces of David Yurman jewelry that I have bought directly from David Yurman. I have browsed the IBuyLuxury's items on eBay and some of the items I own DO NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE WHAT THEY OFFER. Now why would that be?

I can see that some people who have posted in this thread either do not believe the warnings of others or just do not care. By all means, buy from this reseller. But do not complain when the item does not turn out to be what they represent. My other piece of advice is this, and I'm putting it in caps because for some reason people either don't understand it or ignore it: THE ONLY PLACE TO PURCHASE GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC DAVID YURMAN MERCHANDISE IS FROM A DAVID YURMAN BOUTIQUE OR AN AUTHORIZED OUTLET SUCH AS NEIMAN MARCUS, SAKS & THE LIKE. PERIOD.

I purchased 2 Yurman rings from I Buy Luxury almost 3 years ago. The price seemed too good to be true and it was! I knew as soon as I received them that they were fakes. The hoops that I had to jump through to get my money back were incredible. I don't know any reputable company that treats customers like they do. I had to provide a letter of authenticity to get a full refund. The rings came in bogus pouches and felt very light and tinny. I own lots of authentic Yurman and knew immediately. I even called Yurman corporate and was told that they only sell their jewelry to authorized dealers and jewlery stores. I Buy Luxury is not one of those. I wrote a review on Ebay and had many people write and tell me of their misery. I informed the FBI and the Attorney General of Texas.
Today I went to Ebay and I see that they are no longer selling through Ebay. Could it be that they have finally been exposed! I can only hope. I just feel bad for everyone who was duped by their deceptive selling practices and their intimidation when trying to return the fakes.

I also believe that some of the posts that I see here saying that I Buy Luxury is selling authentic Yurman were probably posted by their own employees. As they say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!!!!" Buyer beware!

I had the same exact experience you did. I also handled the same way you did. They are no longer selling on Ebay. Although they may just be changing their name and trying to sell their fakes to more unsuspecting buyers. Thanks for helping to blow the whistle.
