gryson and haven't seen any Posen bags that I am crazy about.

I have a few bags in my head that I want, but they are older bags.

Alexander McQueen is about the only bag that turns my head these days.

I feel sad that there are no bags for me to covet right now. I have been shopping on line and in person, and nothing speaks to me. In the past there has always been a "must have" bag that I sought. Now I feel that part of my life is missing.

Probably Coach, because they've gotten a bit full of themselves with the absurd prices, but not the quality to match. And then they put a lesser version of everything into the outlets, so it almost makes it pointless to shop at the stores.

Juicy Couture. I used to be obsessed with their bags. I know they were a tid bit tacky, but in a cute, girly way. I loved the Black/Ivory and Pink/Brown color combo. The new bags are just plain tacky. I will always love the Juicy from earlier 2009, but this newer stuff isn't doing anything for me.

Very interesting thread!

I have fallen out of love with several brands in the last few years or so since I started to get even more into bags. Sometimes I come back to them when a collection comes back that I love (as in the case of RM -- I loved her older bags, decided that I disliked everything about the brand for a few seasons, and now am back loving several styles), but other times I just don't return at all, and end up selling most of my items from that particular brand or designer.

Lately I have been falling a bit out of love with Belen Echandia. I spent more than a year obsessed with BE bags (and they are wonderful, very well made and with the best CS out there, IMO), but lately nothing is exciting me about their current offerings. The price hike, a few issues with wear on the bags, and the fact that I have come back to RM after their CS and QC improved are probably to blame.

Another brand that has fallen off of my radar is Ignes. Again, they are well-made, very reasonably priced bags with excellent CS. But somehow the styles never quite meshed with my personal aesthetics -- I think that they are too classic for me.

I used to like Gucci and Prada, and now they just don't do anything for me.

I have some Gucci peices that are vintage that I love, but the new stuff is just too much with the shiny canvas and the studs and brass and jewels and fringe and braids and embroidery...it goes on and on.

And Prada- The only two lines that I liked were the Gauffre and the Fairy. I am so sick of seeing those nylon bags everywhere. I wish I could see a really classic lucious leather bag from them.

I used to be a die hard Louis Vuitton fan (40 years) luggage and all! I also loved Gucci and used to fly to Rome as often as I could to shop at the Spanish Steps. I live in South Florida, and there's a huge flea market that sells so many fakes, especially LV and Gucci. I got tired of seeing myself coming and going!! Now my heart belongs to Hermes, Chanel, and Balenciaga!!!:heart::heart:

I've been tired of Coach for a year or so now, I'm starting to get tired of Rebecca Minkoff. The first bag I ever bought of hers was a little over a year ago and it looks old. It's not really beat up but definitely too much broken in. I regret buying so many! I am currently loving Chloe. Mine have held up very very well.

I'm pretty much off bags in general these days. I still look around, but there comes a time when you have so many, nothing new looks as good as something I already have at home.

I'm with Doreen on this topic. Maybe I have the right number of great bags, but nothing is calling my name, except that I need a black bag. Looking at a couple of Ferragamo bags.

BTW - I went into the Coach store the other day and was really surprised at what I saw. They had some cute bags, but the quality just was not there as it had been years ago. The prices were ok, but I still would not pay for the lack of quality. The bags just don't seem to have any substance.

I'd also have to say I used to be obsessed with BE, then I realized I didn't love them as much as I thought. Something about the bags never seemed to be worth the price point. I had a few, kept a couple, and sold the rest for a huge loss. I don't even visit the BE forum anymore.

^^ Same for me also. I have accumulated enough bags in a variety of styles and colors to satisfy me for a looong time. My favorites are BV and Gucci leather bags. They make up the majority of my collection.

I used to like Prada, not so much anymore now. Seems like the current styles from last seasons are just so dowdy. Also, as another poster had written, Chanel I used to like but now it's everywhere due to the knock-offs. I am still looking for a black tote but a black on black where it's not so obviously Chanel. Finally, there's LV. I used to love LV -unique styles but the monogram really is everywhere too, I try to stay with the damier or epi so it's not too obviously LV.
