Usually on that style lock you just take both little buttons and gently push down while you push them both towards the middle. Sometimes when they are new the first time you have to do it firmly.

You can hot stamp 3 initials and 2 dots maximum at the leather part of the long strap. There's an option of 16 colors to choose from. Not complimentary though, there's a nominal cost (50 in my country, approximately USD10-15) and takes 2 weeks.
Still haven't send mine as just delivered a month ago and still under house arrest[emoji38]

As promised, finally had time to send in the strap. The boutique had all 16 color options but in the end, I chose metallic gold as it looks best on the leather.

I was so interested in this bag and when a pre-loved one appeared on the bay at a really reduced price, I grabbed it! The bag was several years old and the owner said it was used a lot. But it still looked great!! So I think this is a really great bag and one that ages well!!
