Doesn't look like a satchel...
I hope they will locate the replacement for you. even if it's sold out it will be a nice customer service to get you the one from new season

They are still checking with the warehouse and trying to locate a bag for me.... I am afraid the small deconstructed satchel might be discontinued as I didn't find it in the current season: they still have the regular sized one and added a small shoulder bag, but no small one to be seen.
But i am very pleased that they offered to give me a personalization for free in order to make up for their mistake!
This of course requires a bag to personalize in the first place.

Fingers crossed for you. I ordered small Belvedere from their site, it's on the way (hopefully).

I'm utterly baffled here, Stansy; did they simply package the wrong item, or did they send you a pouch as a compensation for selling out of the satchel? I fail to see how anyone could confuse a pouch with a satchel?!!

Hoping you get a swift resolution ... :)

They sent the wrong item which is sitting in my kitchen waiting for instructions to send it back. I still have high hopes that they will be able to locate a bag for me, it really sounds stupid that they sent the pouch instead of the bag. But with the sales going on they seem really busy.
And their CS is hands-on, no complaints here!
I am curious though what they will do if no other bag for me shows up....

Thank you Stansy. I think you've just put my niggling concern into words i.e. the bucket style with the circular base may not sit very neatly x-body, and that's exactly how I felt about my Balenciaga Mini Pompon... it would be silly to repeat the same mistake twice. Back to the drawing board for me I think!


And btw good luck with your Bathurst!

I've got a nasty feeling that you will just get a refund, although a complementary pouch would be nice ... Are there any other bags that you would like instead? I have a fair few AH from the older ranges (Lautner, Pacino (my absolute favourite!), Perry, Elrod, Perriand etc etc, but nothing recent).

I will just have to be patient I guess... I got an open-top Nevis in burgundy fabric a while back, my first AH bag, and two be-a-bags, and I really like the quality of AH bags. I was also considering a small Belvedere, but I wanted a bag with a closed top.
Maybe they will let me keep the pouch in case they won't find a Bathurst, I guess I will know more on monday :smile1:

You are welcome! I made so many expensive wrong decisions bag-wise and learned my lesson I guess :smile1:

I guess I will hear back from CS on monday on my Bathurst...
