I have a Large Chocolate Darwin Ant and it goes anywhere and everywhere - you can have iPad/Kindle, purse, umbrella and still have room left for phone and make-up etc. I suggest you get one and test drive it because I didn't think it was for me until I tried it!

Thanks Jayspee. I sense a trip to Mulberry in my near future!!! :D

I bought the large choc Ant when I had my youngest daughter, six years ago, largely because I could fit in an umbrella, nappy/wipes, phone, purse, Uncle Tom Cobley and all (ok, he didn't quite squeeze in and had to walk!) The phone is an htc smart phone and fitted neatly into the front pocket for easy access. Even after six years, and being slung around the car a bit, it still attracts a lot of positive comments and seems to age really well (wish it would divulge its secrets to me!)

I bought the small oak Ant this year, because I wanted something light and easy to tote when out shopping. I like that it's secure, is handsfree, a better size on me (as I'm 5'4", with a short body), a real workhorse (no babying needed) and takes all the essentials. That said, I can't get my phone into the front pocket easily and the umbrella needs to be telescopic.

On balance, I could live with the small one but wouldn't trade the large one for gold bars!

Hi guys Thankyou for your replies on this thread, found each and every one very useful in making my decision,
Me and the oh went to Cheshire oaks today and I had a little cunning plan to take him in the mulberry outlet store in the hope that he got the message and treated me to a lovely new mulberry,
I have decided to go for the graphite grey Antony which oh agreed was ideal for day to day life...so I am now the proud owner thanks to oh !
It's the smaller one which I understand is compact but it fits my large purse in, my iPhone and plenty of extra space for other bits and bobs,
I'm really happy with it so far and cannot wait to show him off tomorrow :)
Thanks again for all your advise! That's 2 mulberrys in 2 months...definitely on that slippery slope to mulberry addiction !! ;)

Congrats Ashley! I need to see pics, I'm thinking of replacing my worn out oak Antony with graphite.

Can't wait for your pics! I've been thinking of making a trip to the outlets to check this out, can I ask how much are they? Tried to ring them but no answer!

Will try and upload them later :) I love the colour and goes with everything!! :) it was 245 I know they were under 200 a few weeks ago so slightly annoyed they went up but still happy to pay that as its a bag I'm going to use daily, I'm so surprised by how roomy it is and I know it's going to be a real hard wearing bag that needs no babying !!
You should pay a visit to the outlets so much better getting a saving even if it is only 30% still feels like a bargain ;) xxx
