Caught Dooney Sue on QVC talking about a smooth leather hunter crossbody she was selling, & a new color she called Rose. First I’’ve heard of this. Appeared akin to the dark mauve but pinker. Would have ordered for the color alone, but have returned a Hunter in the past (couldnt get past the gusset w/the unsealed bottom corners + heavy). Anywwway, has anybody heard about Rose?

I saw that bag, it’s Qs Dooney of the month. The Rose color is stunning. It was smooth leather. I wish Dooney would do more smooth leather in some other styles. I have been thinking about getting the Hunter in Rose but since I just ordered the flap fold over—they are similar in what you can get in them. Anyway, the Rose in smooth leather is stunning!!

@MrsKC, Hope you enjoy your new fold over bag. The Hunter is VERY heavy for the size - I was so surprised. Then that gusset had these openings at the bottom corners that would allow a penny to hang halfway through. That would have been the space where I would drop my change in a hurry. Back it went. I notice Dooney Sue never shows that gusset in detail because she KNOWS it’s a pain.
I hope they manufacture some pebble leather bags in the rose. It will be a superb spring color, tho it will “go” 4 seasons.

I am surprised it is heavy too. Thanks for the info on the gussets not being affixed to the bottom allowing items to fall out. What I loved is the color and the smooth leather. I can wait for a different style. I have two smooth leather hobos. One in taupe, which is a nude and a fuchsia one that is still in the package :(. Anyway, I probably need to carry the fuchsia one that I have :).

The selleria satchel and crossbody are the TSV again today. At a lower price than last time,
That's what I thought! And has it been more than 6 months? Because QVC states during the TSV presentations that an item won't be lower than the TSV price for at least six months. I guess they found a loophole. Unless I'm wrong and it's been longer than that, but it doesn't seem like it.

When is the TSV scheduled? Not that I'm buying it, but I like looking at the Sellaria collection. :)

Hi LJ!
It's this Monday, January 1st. Starts 12/31 at 9pm on the West Coast.
Thanks RN. The Sellaria line got mixed reviews on Q. But the satchel style and leather appeal to me. Some day it will be on ILD at a great sale price and I can add one to my overflowing handbag collection with less self imposed guilt for buying another handbag. :)

I just ordered the Beacon card case to try out the leather. I like the look of the Beacon collection, but I don't like the thinness of the handles and the fact that the seams are facing out. Those design elements bug me.

And I've fallen in love with the Emerson leather and the Naomi satchel. Reminds me so much of the Alto. But like many fine leathers, I'm not sure it will look pristine after lots of wear. But, so far, so good.

Well, I took the bait. Had no plans of purchasing.
The newly reduced price was more attractive. I purchased the black crossbody, because I had a credit that I needed to use up. It made the price decent at over 50 percent off of retail. Yes, it is is tiny, but I have other normal sized black bags and this can be put in a larger bag. Sometimes all I need is something for keys, phone, small wallet and metrocard. I'm a little over 5'3 and have small hands, so at the price, I can make it work. Wish is had a black slip pocket. I did see also the Selleria crossbody, but no black choice. The satchel I ruled out because of its size and probably the price.

Q almost got me on Friday, when I ordered the Milly crossbody. I had vowed not to buy any black/tan Dooney bags. But the thing that made me cancel was the wristlet strap. Not removable, as far as I could see. Sue had tucked it in.

Of course, I did take advantage of a good sale price on small Flynn in teal. On ILD, I picked it up for $100, plus tax. That's much better than the retail price. Some have complained about the strap length, but I'm shorter and shortwaisted and it probably will work OK. Not home right now and it will be a while before I get it.

Enjoy your new handbags. Anytime you can buy a Dooney at half off or better, it's worth giving it serious consideration. Now I have to go look at the TSV pricing. :)

The bait was too tempting to resist! It's a great price. When you want to carry a small bag I think it's going to work well! I can't wait for you to receive it and let us know what you think!
