And now, my Balenciaga series will be making its debut this Fall. After taking some pics, I decided to create my little Antaomy of... series so that I can share with everyone the features, dimensions, etc. of Balenciaga bags...

ANATOMY OF A WORK: in coral blues guide to becoming a workaholic
Since there are plenty of requests and questions about Work bags (comparison pics, dimensions, how much can it hold, etc) I decided to compile a mini guide to my most loved Balenciaga bag. My boyfriend refers to the Work as: the one that costs $1385 like the last time he bought me one as a present (he ordered over the phone and had no clue how to begin describing it!)
I used mostly my SS 07 French Blue Work, although my Sandstone and Blueberry both managed to do some extra work...
THE WORK: released in SPRING 2005 (only season with a leather tag)
The original price was $1295 but during the Fall/Winter 2006 Collection the price went up to $1385, the Part Time bag replaced the $1295 slot.
DIMENSION: 13 in x 18 in x 5 in
Single main zipper (unlike the City and Part Times double zipper)
The main compartment opens to about 17 inches wide
Two main studs vs. the Weekenders three
NO STRAP!
Handle drop is approx. 4 inches
Front zip pocket is approx 7.5 inches
