All of the craziness around Amanda is so hard for me to believe. I just never would have seen this coming with her. She always seemed so together and drama-free. The media needs to leave her alone because they seem to be making things worse...as always.

Well, there was gossip a long time ago about her and Jennie Garth not getting along b/c AB was really difficult on the "What I Like About You" set (and b/c she tried to "get friendly" w/Garth's now x (Peter F-whatever, not looking it up)).
(And there is a lot of weird gossip/rumors out there about former Nickelodeon girls being allegedly/possibly molested by gross Nic producers.)

The allegations are usually on questionable gossip sites (CDAN, etc.), so likely a lot of what's written is completely fabricated. (You can google "dan schnieder" for hits.) Patrons who were waiting for their turn at a Beach Bum Tanning salon in New York City recently got an eyeful when Amanda Bynes came wandering out of her private room in search of goggles … completely nude! According to In Touch , the very troubled actress was all set for a Mystic spray tan when she suddenly decided to head to the lobby sans clothes, or even a towel to cover herself!
“She didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked,” one eyewitness tells the magazine. “She seemed totally out of it. She took her time walking back to the Mystic room, dragging her fingers along the wall and smiling at customers who passed her. There was definitely something wrong with her.”
Bynes, 26, has been pretty low-key lately. Despite a report in late September about her locking herself in a bakery restroom for 30 minutes to “fix her makeup,” the former child star has been on her best behavior in Manhattan, where she fled to after a string of fender benders in Los Angeles.
Still, a slew of troubles are waiting for her on the West Coast: Bynes has upcoming court dates for a DUI, two counts of hit-and-run, and two counts of driving on a suspended license. She has plead not guilty to all offenses.

Tanning Salon's Security Footage Confirms Amanda Bynes Did Not Act Inappropriately

This is one scandal where Amanda Bynes is in the clear.

The tanning salon where the 26-year-old ex-Nickelodeon actress was said to have been walking around naked and “totally out of it” has reviewed its security footage and exonerated the star.

“Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately,” Beach Bum Tanning chief executive officer James Oliver told Celebuzz.

“She is a long-time client and we stand by her account.”

On Thursday, Bynes vowed to sue tabloid publication In Touch after it reported she proceeded to walk around the main salon area in search of goggles completely nude.

The magazine quoted an “eyewitness” saying Bynes was “painfully thin” and ”didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked.”

Bynes told Celebuzz via text message: “That’s not true, I’ll sue.”

In my opinion, Amanda was at her best during her teenaged years when she starred in the Amanda Show. Also, when she was still a brunette, known for her goofy comedy. That was also when her face looked slimmer and not quite so bloated.

I miss that Amanda. I hope she can pull through this.
