I love this thread.
1. I also wash my hands before touching my bag!
2. And I make my husband take me out on dates just so I can use her.
3. I plan my outfits with my bag in mind and I have to run back to the full length mirror real quick before I leave the house just to steal a final glance at the bag and how she looks with my ensemble.
4. She always gets her own seat at a restaurant, but I usually try to cover her with my coat so nothing splashes onto her.... which really sucks because I want to be able to stare at her! So I have to take a quick peek at her every once in awhile then gently hide her again.
5. She's sitting at my desk with me right now where I can stare at her when not working.
6. I always rest my right hand on her as she dangles from my right shoulder so that I can love and protect her. But....
7. I love holding her by the top handle because it feels like better contact being able to wrap my (WASHED!!!) hand around the beautiful rolled leather.

I always rest my right hand on my bag too. Also when grocery shopping I NEVER put the bag in the front seat of the carriage, ever!!
Also don't let my nails get too long so I don't scratch it.
I've been observing other women with their bags since I started this thread. Some people just don't care what kind of bag they use! Oh well, I guess I used to be like that too, when I was like 12 and a tom-boy. I have just always loved bags, probably influenced by my grandmother who also loved bags and took really good care of them.

Oh yeah, that goes without saying!!! Smelling the leather, applying protectant spray, conditioning .... all excuses to love on that bag!
I used to not care about purses either. I just got cheapies at target or whatever, stuffed them in a drawer when not in use and never noticed other womens' bags. So I'm sure most don't notice or care about mine. But I love having nice things and I reward myself for having a great job and performing well at it with nice things. Handbags are just one more luxury item I can now afford to have and appreciate.

I don't have a lot of extra money so I hunt for pre-loved bags at great prices, and feel very lucky when I find one and appreciate it that much more.
Omg! I had to make an account just for reading this! I do all of this..including taking my purse everywhere i go. DH is totally supportive of my purse obsession. He doesnt mind if were on the couch watching tv and one of my purses joins us lol. I have a funny story kinda sexual but i dont wanna offend. Anyway i love this thread!
