Am I the only one who doesn’t use my Kelly 28 Sellier?

I personally do not feel the 28 size bothers me much, but the opening of the flap is really inconvenience, I seldom put my cell phone in the bag even it has more than enough space for it.
For the users who have both K28 and K25 Sellier, will there be any chance that its easier to open the flap of K25 due to its smaller size?
Thanks for the comments in advance!

when I first considering the Kelly bag, I thought sellier is too formal and rigid, which led me purchased all my kellies in retourne style. However, over a few years, I discovered that sporting the formal Sellier Kelly in a casual manner can actually exude a sense of chicness. For instance, pairing my gold Sellier 32 with a short canvas strap alongside a white t-shirt and jeans creates a stylish ensemble. I realize that blending formal and casual elements can be fun and kind of French chic.

Agree - pairing canvas strap with sellier makes the bag more casual. I'm still hunting for the perfect canvas strap for my 28 sellier!

I live in California and we don’t have ‘winter’ per se. I have multiple Kellies in different colors, but for me it’s about the outfit, not about the season. Very honestly, if I felt I can only wear something with a specific garment in a specific season, I would find it hugely limiting. I think these bags are too expensive to be limited to such a small time window every year.

This is a statement that is so rarely expressed.
Bags are accessories to be chosen to complement the rest if the outfit.
Admittedly when, because of availability, you can't just go and purchase the ideal bag for each outfit, some eye to universality has to be maintained.

IMO, it’s the same

I think K25 Sellier in Epsom would be harder to open and close than K28 Sellier in Epsom since Epsom is really stiff.
My K25 Sellier is in Ostrich and my K28 Sellier is in Epsom, I find those two are easy to open and close. I love them both equally!

Thank you!
Good to know your experience with K25 Sellier in Epsom. Your HSS Ostrich K25 looks awesome!
I really need to consider if I should go for an exotic when I want a K25.

Looking at all these comments about Sellier style I am a bit worried, because I have a Sellier Kelly 28 next on my wishlist. I already have a retourne Etoupe Kelly, so I wanted a different style. I am thinking perhaps I want to change my wishlist :confused1: Also, I am not a fan of Epsom leather. You guys got me thinking hard.

A little inspiration for anyone who finds it hard to style their black Kelly 28 in sellier. Often the problem is that it may look a little too formal for our lifestyle. Like I said before I mostly use mine in the winter with a structured coat (and sometimes trainers so I mix it up) I don’t mind keeping things for just certain seasons. I mean my black cashmere coat is reserved for just winter (obviously it would be silly to wear it in August), but come December I am lost without it. Likewise I find the structure of a black sellier works well with winter tailoring.
