Am I the only one who absolutely hates the alhmabra design?

I do think ‘hate’ is a strong word. Now this is just my thinking but by any chance do you hate someone who wears the VCA Alhambra range and you associate that design with them to the point you can’t stand the sight of it? Or perhaps a bad experience at VCA? Because to say you actually ‘hate’ the 4 leaf clover design it’s pretty strong.
Many people equal different tastes in practically everything we buy, if every design was the same it wouldn’t make good business sense, no diversity, hence boring lol.

What drew me to VCA was the Alhambra collection, I can’t get enough of it, simple, beautiful and elegant. Just like Cartier, is popular with their LOVE collection which everyone recognises but then buyers will venture into their other collection as people do with VCA.
I look at other brand jewellery that I can’t see me buying or wearing but never to say that I hate it, I just don’t pay much attention. But I will never say never, I dismissed a particular necklace by VCA, thought it was pointless imo at the time, and now after so many years I want it badly!!!

You just never know you may come to like it someday lol.

That's so true though. I used to be someone who firmly believes in purchasing diamonds & gold only, and that people are just crazy to spend that much on natural stones by VCA. Now fast forward, I own the carnelian pendant and a 5 motif chalcedony, and contemplating getting the 10 motif chalcedony to complete a set. :giggle:

You are absolutely hilarious. You really must hate VCA if you come on to the VCA forum to proclaim your dislike. I honestly ask the question of why you would start this thread in a forum where most people LOVE the brand. I’m curious. I’m not going to try to convince you to like it or to defend the brand. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion. I also think you have the right to proclaim it here. It’s a public forum. I do believe you that you feel strongly about it but did you want to have a discussion about it or just wanted to try to agitate people who love the brand. Or do you want to have people explain to you why they love it. Or are so full of irritation that you want to spread out the irritation to maybe reduce your own? An interesting case.

Welcome to the Van Cleef forum on Purse Forum. I see that you are fairly new to VCA. Sorry you hate Van Cleef Jewelry. I have never really felt that way about another jewelry brand. If a brand is not really for me for one reason or another I just don't buy or desire to ever purchase it. I hope you can find a jewelry brand you really like and try not to let VCA haunt you in the future :}

:heart:PS......Most people that come on the VCA forum love VCA.

Firstly, your wallet thanks you profusely.
Mine wishes to trade place with you
Secondly, never say never.. ever:coolio:
I second this!! One of my Business major professors told us to buy what we love and what we hate, and just forget about all other ones in between. I never really cared to pay attention in class most of the time, but boy this philosophy has stuck with me since that day lol. Obviously VCA has somehow attracted enough attention of OP for her to hate it, so yes, never say never :graucho:

This is an interesting thread to post on a VCA lover's forum.

The "pretend-psychiatrist" in me says you are obsessed with VCA and want a piece. Yet, there is some factor causing you not to buy it or be able to buy it. Hence, in revolt, you declare you hate it to make peace with yourself!
Hmm... could that be it?

If I truly "hate" something (and I truly hate celery, yes I do, no celery in my house!:heart:)...
I don't even give it an ounce of my brain energy nor time to think about it and certainly do not spend energy posting about it.

Do you really hate it, or do you secretly love it, but because you can't have it, you then have to convince yourself you hate it?
Food for thought.

Of course, this is coming from a "pretend-psychiatrist" so I could be all wrong.:heart:

Well said. I was thinking of the same thing but you have articulated it more eloquently than I would have.
