Pure poetry here......and TRUTH! Use them, enjoy them, let them age and get their flaws just like we do.By embracing idea that perfection isn't what creates beauty.

I never get this "save" mentality. Save for what? Life is not promised tomorrow.
I agree. My mom had the "save" mentality and never used anything of quality. Nice clothes, china, etc. gathered dust. And she didn't get to enjoy her things over her lifetime. So, having seen that, I actively force myself to use my best, prettiest, nicest every day.
Sometimes when I wake up and just feel like looking schlubby (like on demonic PMS days [emoji43]) , my bags stop me. I don't have any schlubby bags - only nice ones. So, I have to put on something equally nice to "match" my bag. LOL! And then once I'm dressed well I think - hey maybe I'll call a friend for lunch or suggest date night with hubby. So using my nice bags actually brings more beauty / happy / nice in other areas. Who'dathunk using a nice bag has magical life changing powers? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
So I encourage everyone to grab their most amazing bag and have fun!
. Congrats on losing and keeping it off!! 😀 That's no easy feat. I'm sure you look and feel great!I have rebuilt my wardrobe after losing 46 pounds three years ago.
I live in Ireland, most unpredictable weather ever!!! So I'm always scared to carry some bags, like my white multicolour LV, have a fear of jeans rubbing off it in the rain and staining, horrible that I really have to think about the weather before using a bag, like I once wore a fabulous suede Prada shoulder bag and got caught in a downpour and it was distorted [emoji20]
LovestheLouis, I can totally understand that! I tend to use my bags that don't need babying when the weather is bad. The others are my fair-weather bags!
