Alternate strap for Evelyne? How does it look?

You can have your strap shortened by H, why not just do that? I took 8 inches off mine and now at longest length it goes crossbody and at shortest, shoulder. They re-sew the tabs and you’d never know.

Thanks everyone - I think I am going to look into having Hermes shorten the strap. Although the alternate strap looks "ok", I think the original still looks better. My Hermes location said they did not shorten straps - I guess various H locations have "friendlier" SA's.

Yes Hermes will do that, in my case I had it lengthened and you would never know anything was done to it. They resewed the tabs ends perfectly. But it did take 2 months.

I have the same Etoupe Evelyne. While the included strap works for me, it can get a bit bulky. I love the striped strap on yours and I’m looking for something to swap out for mine too.

I agree with the suggestion that you have H shorten the strap. I've had canvas straps altered by the craftspeople at the Madison store. Very easy.

I use a Fendi strap on mine, it’s a black Evelyne and the Fendi strap is all black with black leather and patent leather flowers. I know many don’t like brand mixing but I love it.

I actually quite like how that looks! Because of the gradient, the black ends don't look that out of place IMO.
