Hi, I bought a matching beige Poudre strap for my Alma PM so I can be hands free for a minute or two when really needed- I don't normally wear the Alma on the strap unless I have my hands full- for anyone wondering what the strap/alma looks like when worn I have taken some shots for you.

Hi everyone, just wondering what your thoughts on for adding a Fendi strap to an Alma pm? The site hasn't had the matching indigo alma strap for awhile and I have looked at other options. The Fendi strap is listed as 35" though so I'm not sure if it would even work? Or would anyone have another recommendation that I can add as an alternate? Thank you!
This is an interesting thread. I agree the Alma looks best handheld or in the crook of your arm (the most ladylike look) but I have zero issues throwing a strap on for convenience! I think modern life is too hectic not to have a shoulder strap backup.
I regret being indecisive and not getting the matching Alma PM strap for mine before it was discontinued. Then I had to settle for a strap from another bag in the same Hot Pink vernis. Oh well, live and learn lol. I keep it tucked in my Alma at all times, in case of emergencies
@cinders56 I use various guitar straps (like the Fendi one’s length) that I use for my Alma PM so you should be fine. BTW they discontinue straps the same as bags in epi/vernis colours - that’s probably why you can’t find your matching one. Here’s a recent one I found from Amazon for my Alma to be crossbody. There are lots of fun options out there for us Alma fans
