just received my cuir cosmetic case from Bloomingdales. Not sure about this whether it is a cuir. Its made in Tunsia Is it Metis? Here are the pics Thanks for your help It feel nice but I'm not sure? Thanks so much for your help

That's correct. It's an Xtra. I could tell just from the texture of the leather that it was the xtra cowhide.

Yep, that's a Xtra. What a disappointment, I'm sorry hope you find a Cuir métis from another stockist. They're still around, but you'll have to search a bit. This is the first real life closeup image that I've seen of Xtra leather and it doesn't look very good...

yes -its going back I have my bag so I'll live without the make up case if need be!
