I am planning to buy my first (and only) mini peekaboo this week but I cannot decide between calfskin mini in dark gray (Asphalt) and black mini Selleria with large stitching and python top handle
.
Both bags are absolutely beautiful and take my breath away so to be practical I wonder mainly about potential wear and tear ,however, any advice would be greatly appreciated

I’m sure they are both beautiful!! i think the seleria is easier to care for though. I have both too, and my seleria is white . I don’t worry about it. I sprayed both calfskin and seleria with Apple guard or collonil to protect it . For more formal events , i can dress up the calfskin more. Whatever your choice is , I’m sure would be great! I have settled on selleria mini (originally was debating between selleria and calf), but now I am trying to figure out the style/colour I should go for.
There are a few options available to choose from as I am looking at darker colours - classic selleria mini in black vs black selleria mini with large contrast stitching and watersnake handle vs electric/dark blue mini selleria with large contrast stitching (pics attached). I do have Capucines BB in black with GHW, however I feel it’s a bag with a totally different vibe as would be using mini Peekaboo on a daily basis.
Any advise regarding color, wear and tear of exotic handle, large stitching or any other input would be ever so helpful and GREATLY appreciated

I caved under pressure of an impending 15% price increase and bought this one. My first Peekaboo (Mini, calf skin, in colour Honey). I have wanted it for a while!

Thanks to your advice I managed to find my perfect mini peekaboo today
I ended up buying a classic mini selleria in a dark gray (Asphalt).
It's perfect for my needs - a classic piece in the perfect colour with an amazing leather and different enough so not to duplicate my Noir Capucines BB GHW. Yey !
