That's how I meant to store it in my post. Don't store it with the snap closed. Overstuff it in the open position to keep the sides nice and straight. Also, BigCherry, did you take out the stuffing before you tried to snap it? It's normal for it not to be able to close with the paper in there.

I think they get that way in shipping but it's not a big deal. It will go back to the correct shape after being stored properly.

Fendi deemed the bag defective. I've placed two orders with Fendi.com and both items were defective. My BTW bags came direct from Venice and are perfect but since ecommerce started the boutique is not allowed to ship within Europe.

I decided to call into Brown Thomas in Dublin but the only designer they don't stock is Fendi. I ended up with a micro luggage tote that has always been on my wish list.

I think the Fendi bag will go into the sale later in the year so I might pick one up then instead.

Really? You've gotten two defective bags from Fendi.com? That's awful. The only bag I've purchased from Europe was a mini 2jours from Tessabit in Como and that was gorgeous but you're right that they may not be able to ship in Europe (I'm in the States). You'd think they'd have better QC for their own e-commerce business! But anyway, I hope you're enjoying the micro luggage!
