So I went ahead and ordered the silky calf in fondant. It came on Tuesday and i am in LOVE. It is definitely one of the most beautiful bags I own so I have no regrets even if it ends up being delicate. I will be careful with it but will also enjoy every outing with her.

Congrats on your purchase! I also went ahead and placed my order for an Andiamo silky calf version but in a large size.
I was wondering if your bag comes with a "Certificate of Craft" card (A gold metal card) or not since a lifelong guarantee is a big deal for a piece this expensive. I know the intrecciato version has it.

I didn’t buy from the boutique so I didn’t get one. I am in the US and bought from Bloomingdales online. I weighed whether it was worth it to buy directly to get the cert, but decided it wasn’t. I ‘saved’ quite a bit by earning the bloomie’s rewards and Rakuten cash back. It was around 2k off altogether. I’m not certain it’s accurate but the bottega website says the intrecciato version comes with certificate of craft but it doesn’t say that for the smooth version.

Thanks for the reply! I think finding ways to save some money definitely matters when it comes to a bag this expensive!
I asked my SA this morning and she said there are no cert. card for neither the silky calf nor the suede version of the bag.
This is kinda a bummer since they are so big on being able to use their bag forever, but the lifelong guarantee is only for certain size/style/material

That certification seems a little arbitrary. Why doesn’t the woven Andiamo Parachute not have one?

I love this bag so much but the price not so much.

I could so see myself (25 male) wear this well into my 40s and 50s as a semi-work bag and later on.

and having my imaginary kids think it's such an "old" style bag growing up but then my imaginary grandkids fighting over it once I'm gone... cause a new BV bag of a similar style was released like so many of us thought of BV 5 years ago.

To all Andiamo fans, do you think Small in Travertine will be a good New Year addition to my current collection? Which other color options could work? I live in a year round warm/hot climate.

This is my absolute favorite color but there is also a pastel orangey pink which i liked. I forget the color name, did you try that one?

Hello,

Does anyone know here if the small Andiamo Bag will also come in the new color "Rosewood" (it's a stunning red)?
It seems for now only available in the east-west style, but I prefer the regular one.

If it won't come in the Rosewood, I'm interested in the Barolo. I'm just afraid that it will be too autumnal.

What do you think?

Thank you :-)

I see it now. I have the smooth Andiamo (not intrecciato) and it doesn’t look like that, but the leather is thicker I think. Hopefully, some people with same version as you will chime in.
