Yes that's normal if you flip over to other side, you see another seam, the straps are doubled so that's why there is a seam sewn layers together! Both my Rocco's have it too.

Finally received my granite Rocco from Aloha Rag. The pebbles are great except for one of the round sides (the one with the zipper). Completely pebbled middle strip with completely smooth leather on either side. WTF? I'm never ordering a Rocco online again.

Ahh, but it still looks nice, it's just the nature of the leather, it will vary from bag to bag, but it's good not all bags are the same! I still like it, and you got an Awesome Price!!

I know. It just stands out as different leather. Looks weird, when the rest is so pebbled. I have a black that is only pebbled on the ends, and more wrinkled on the body. That was ok, because it looks intentional. Maybe waiting a week raised my expectations too much. :) On the bright side I love the color and don't mind the green undertone at all.

Yeah me too, at first I was going to exchange the bag, but now I love it and they sold out of all Gray! I like the light gold HW, goes great with this color.

Which one? I just flipped it over and i cant see any other joint.. I'll freak out if mine is different from any other roccos.... Its just weird that they cant sewn it right in the end of the strap instead, it will be nicer that way dont u think?
