thanks Adri! I ordered the black/brass mini rocco from Neimans on wednesday and payed for 2-day shipping anxiously excited that I'd receive it friday and didn't get it till monday!! i was really upset and they're going to refund my shipping money but im sure you all can imagine how crazy excited i was to have my bag!

I'll post pictures soon :) i LOVE it, mine isn't as pebbly as some of the other pictures i've seen but i'm trying to not let it bother me haha

i was a little curious to ask, i noticed that on some of the rocco handles it looks in pictures that its one continuous piece of leather and then on others it looks like two pieces come together in the center of the handle and are sewn together.. my bag is two pieces joined together in the center of the handle and i am worried if i'm going to have to worry about them coming apart after continuous wear... old rocco owners have you experienced any problems with this if yours is sewn together?

i'm curious to see how many are just one continuous piece of leather and how many are two pieces sewn together .... do you think all the newer models are two pieces sewn together for the handles? TIA :smile1:

I mentioned in another AW thread that during New York Fashion Week, there was an article in the Wall Street Journal that talked about ways that designers are keeping costs down in the face of the rising cost of materials. One thing that designers are doing is making straps with two pieces of leather sewn together, instead of one long piece of leather, because two smaller pieces are less expensive than one large piece. I suspect that's how it's going to be going forward...

I just purchased a pre-owned mini that is black and silver. I looked at the first page of pictures on the forum, girls showing off their new handbags. I was just curious if anyone has their style tag number so I can compare the numbers to the bag I bought. I hope I did not get ripped off! The pictures of the bag I bought indicate silver, but look more like brushed silver. The pictures I have seen on here are shiny silver. Can anyone confirm an authentic style for the original mini cocco bag in black and silver??? Thanks!

you should take photos of your bag and post it in the "authenitcate" thread..the ladies in there are soo incredibly knowledgeable and can help you with this.

I just saw you list the item in the authenticate forum and i just wanted to let you know that the bag isn't black.. it's actually forest green (you'll see it when you get it).. just didn't want you to be surprised..

see, i was racking my brain trying to remember if they ever made a black with silver and i didn't think they did.
