I haven't but maybe it's from the leather eventually stretching a bit with the weight?
I havent either and I use mine every day. Although mine is not the most pebbly Ive seen, I had a choice of a REALLY pebbly one or a slightly smoother one and went for the smoother because it looked better and the leather was softer, the really pebbly one was really stiff and hard which I didnt like, but the one I have the leather hasnt changed in look or feel.

Mine is in luggage and was really pebbly and i've had it for just over a month. I don't carry THAT much stuff in it, and now one side is pretty smooth and it's really driving me nuts. I don't feel like this should have happened so soon. I'm waiting to hear back from Barney's about it...

i've been a diehard Balenciaga girl for so long and frankly, got a little bored and appalled by the new and in my opinion inferior quality of their leather/color...
i think this is the beginning of a new addiction

^^ hi, yes. i am an official convert!! the leather is gorgeous, the black studs are really interesting and don't add as much weight as i had feared.
i've already got another bag on the way - GREY with SILVER studs. i bought the last one from Shopbop yesterday. this one will have the strap.
last year, i sold off ALL of my BAL's except for an 05 work and a handful of accessories... it feels good to branch out!!

LOL that's exactly what I did! I received the Forrest for my first AW and before the week was out I had already ordered another. I can't wait to see your SB Grey with the strap, it looks like such a nice rich Grey. I have the older lighter Grey/Silver and it's my favorite combo so far I think.
After the GH on the Bal's I didn't find the Rocco's to be as heavy as I expected either.
I sold off all my Bal too except for my weekender and a few accessories and I've been enjoying trying new designers as well. I definitely am in the middle of a full fledged addiction to AW now:shame:
Just wanted to show you guys pictures and let me know what you think. Picture one is 1 side of my bag. This is how side 2 looked when I got it. The second picture is now how side 2 now looks. The center panel is totally flat up towards the top. The pebbles have been completely eliminated.
Is this a defect with the leather in your opinion?
I spoke to a manager at Barney's and they said that i'd have to "bring it in"... didn't sound too optimistic.
