I just read someone saying that they sold their rocco w/o strap to later regret it b/c the newer one has these wear areas after just a few days.
so bummed if the quality is lacking i mean i do want to put the bag on a table or other surface sometimes.
please update when u get it. was it on sale?

IMO the new bags are not made as well..... but if you love the style and are less OCD about wear, it might not bother you.

If I do get one I might as well get the Ocean color as that's my fav. hope they don't color bleed on clothing if the leather's that sensitive.
Don't know if it's OCD just an expectation that a $900 bag won't display wear this quickly.

You will get so much use out of this bag, and it looks like you got one with beautiful leather!
I gotta say I mostly wear my Roccos these days, I think they look so cool, and are real workhorse bags. They more distressed they get the better they look.
I have the Forest and Luggage so far, both with the strap.

Thanks! I love that I can set it on the floor if I have to and not worry about the leather getting ruined. I do feel like I don't have to worry about the leather as much...so I know what you mean about them being a real workhorse.
Which of yours do you like best Pilates...the Forest or the Luggage? I love both of those colors! I really LOVE the quilted luggage bag. I don't know why it doesn't have the secret zippers though. I'd love to find one of those. I like having the strap on the new one though.

And I just got a new one a week and a half ago.
My Rocco just arrived today! I love it and going to take it for a spin tomorrow. I ordered the Black/Brass w/ Strap. I hope the quality is good, but after reading this I am a bit let down. Regardless the Rocco is gorgeous and I love the style!

Your Rocco is beautiful, you inspired me to get mine!
BUT I gotta say the strap is fantastic, very handy for shoulder or messenger wear, and also I love the way the bag kinda bends when worn on the shoulder, the studs look great on it when worn that way.
I say go for it!

Thanks CG! This is my first AW and I have to say that I agree with Pilates. I love having the option to wear the strap. It make all the difference in the world as far as comfort when I need my hands free. It falls perfectly with the strap on my shoulder.
