hi all,

i'm planning to buy my gf a AW bag for her bday, but i'm really confused.. even after reading some of these posts... what is the difference between the mini rocco? baby rocco?? is there a regular sized rocco? finding that perfect bag is harder than i thought...

The mini is larger and the original ("regular" size as you put it), while the baby is smaller.

there are fakes on ebay, however there are also authentic ones, you can post them in the authentication forum here, the girls there are great with authenticating :smile1: there are also plenty of other places to purchase them.. check out one of the threads of where to purchase.

some examples are forwardforward.com, ssense.com, lagarconne.com, bluebee.com, there are definitely more but these are the ones i came up with right now.

thanks all.. i think im going with the black rocco mini with the gold studs on the bottom... either that or the darcy with the same features.. i'm not sure.. she'd probably like either or... i'm going to wait for that saks friends and family thing NYCshopGirl80 recommended since her bday isn't until mid november

The rocco is more common and a safer bet, unless she specified she wanted the darcy. Both are nice though.

I have a 2010 black/brass rocco with shoulder strap, and I'm in love! Just wondering from those whose roccos have some mileage on them: how to they wear over time? Any fading? Loose threads at seams? Fallen studs? I love this bag so much that I'm tempted to get another one, but just want to be sure it will hold up over the long term. Thank you!

I got the original a year ago. I've been wearing her on & off & on my travels since it holds a lot, though it get heavier too but it's holding up pretty well. The handles have stretched, about right to fit on my shoulder. All the studs are still tight, no loose threads, no fading, the leather still looks fabulous. I just wish they had the long strap then, other than that, I love her.

I've had my Rocco since last year and considering that the zipper is quite heavy duty has anyone else had issues with it getting stuck? I really quickly closed mine all the way up yesterday and spent the next four hours trying to get it open again...I was ready to throw it out the window (especially considering all the stuff i carry in mine, my whole life basically!) when suddenly it just opened really smoothly...hopefully this was just a one off...
