i paid about $485~ USD on shopbop (before it went back up to the $612~)!!!
AND GUYS, I'm panicking right now and super excited because the postman came on the 20th with a package but my sister and I weren't home so he left one of those notices on the door which my mom came home to and DECIDED NOT TO TELL ME, omg. So I could've had my Rocco for two days now! I'm picking it up tomorrow morning!!!
I just had to let fellow Rocco lovers know my pain.. haha

I like the fact that the bag has those studs on the bottom. You wouldn't have to worry about it being on the floor!

pradapiggy..the baby was $485 during the extra 20% off sale. I got the mini which was $612. You did get the baby....correct? I love this color..probably more than my black one. Congrats...I know how excited you are.
lol, yup bagachondriac, I guess it was $485, I don't remember exactly... just that it was in the 400s, lol!
ANYWAY, I picked it up today AND, it's gorgeous!!! I love it! The only thing I'm a little sad about, if anything, is that the baby is a LITTLE small for me. It's like the LV Speedy 25.. but the straps are perfect for being held by hand or in the crook of the arm. ALSO, it's surprisingly light!! I was expecting it to be heavier, what with the reviews/complaints and the studs.
And yes, my bag was also delivered in a fairly flat box, squished in a plastic bag. I'm glad it had tissue paper inside where the studs are and in the bag itself. The leather is super soft and smooth -- not as pebbly as I expected.. maybe the black is different?
And the colour is definitely not like the lavenderish 2009 greys... it's more like the transition between the 2010 and 2009 greys (more dove grey, with a hint of lavender).
I am sooo excited to share photos tomorrow (because it's dark and rainy right now and my house light won't be able to capture its true colour)!!! Unfortunately I won't be able to carry it out for a while until I get the Apple Garde (which is the most recommended, I'd assume?) to protect my bag before I begin carrying it with oily hands and such.

liz 1 - OH! A blogger is actually selling her lightly used 09 mini grey/silver Rocco!! It's written in Norwegian, but you can use the Language Tools/Translation on Google to translate the page or the entry, but she's asking for 4000 NOK which is about 650 USD.

I live in Toronto!!! We cannot even get them in Canada!! I had to go to lagarconne.com, and it was 865$ for the mini with strap. I just love it so much, I was never much of a crook of arm girl, only sometimes, but the strap is always a must for me. You bought them on sale from shopbop.com? NAP didnt even have the pebbled version, and so I bought the black velvet laser cut before finding pebbled on lagarconne.com. NAP absolutely gauged me for shipping, duty and taxes, whereas garconne only charged me 20 for shipping and no tax. When i got the package from NAP, I was disappointed with the black velvet laser cut leather; it felt like suede and didnt look as nice as the pebbled. When my pebbled came the next day, I had that warm feeling we all know!!!!
