I think a lot of people think we go by the MIC tag only, which is not true. We look at the bag as a whole. There are several tell tale signs a bag is fake.
I've seen fake bags listed on eBay with stolen photos of authentic MIC tags. :rolleyes:

I am sure that it's not as simple as missing MIC tag and I know you know your stuff! People are so crazy selling all those fake bags. I am new to this...The missing tag just worried me but perhaps I am focusing too much on it. Interested to see if the one that comes today has one...

Did you contact Revolve/Forward about it? Perhaps you can exchange it?

Mick Margo in NYC - totally legit and totally authentic bag. I sold mine on Ebay with no problems to a super sweet buyer because I really, really wanted a strap and you can hand hold the one with a strap.

Thanks for the tip re. revolve, I wish I would have ordered from them!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't want to return this bag for some reason. I'm a little nervous about the return policy which I had no idea was a final sale.

Yeah, Mick Margo is legit. I think the Madison LA policy is just no refunds on handbags. They will do a store credit unless they consider using a coupon 'mark down merchandise'..I don't think they would but who knows. I almost ordered from them. Which one did you get? I'm sure you will love it. :D

I also ordered from Madison LA and when I called them, they said No refund/ possible store credit on handbags accessories, ect. I'm a little annoyed they did not say this on the ordering screen. I hope I love the black with brass, but I'm expecting a black on black baby Rocco from shopbop that I think I'd like more.

Oh no...that sucks. That's not what their return page says online. If you end up wanting to return it, I would call again. Sometimes different people tell you different things. For example, the first person I talked to at Forward told me that they couldn't match the coupon at Madison LA. The second person matched it for me. Hopefully you will want to keep it! I love the black/brass. I had a hard time deciding and I still haven't sent it back because I'm always posing in the mirror with it. Ha.
