I love the Bal bags but I really wonder how he's going to go there? Bal have their own unique style and I wonder how AW is going to still keep that going... I mean AW and Bal are a little bit different from each other. I find it a little odd that an already established designer with his own very established brand is going to be creative director of another well established company... like... that's sort of like betrayal? haha! I really hope it doesn't affect his brand. It's great that he's moving up in the industry but it's kind of weird... haha.

I disagree! There are many, many designers with their own established brand who go to big fashion houses. Think Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano. Wang will definitely breathe some fresh air into the tired Balenciaga handbag line, and although he is an urban new york designer and Balenciaga is a Parisian (but quite edgy Parisian) line I think the match is great, Wang has only been around since 2007 and look! Shows his talent. I almost guarantee this was Anna Wintours idea, she's like obsessed with him.
