And Kaiser discussing Alex/Ellen are they or aren't they:

The gossips just don't want to let this die, do they? Is it the height difference, because otherwise I really don't understand.

Michael K's take:

"A couple of months ago, there was a blind item about a gayelle movie actress and a gay mostly-TV actor who were going to start double bearding for each other and most hos guessed that it was about Ellen Page and ASkars. It took 6 firefighters, 1 crane, 1 low-flying helicopter, 10 gallons of salt water, 12 taser guns and a pack of wild pit bulls to pull me off of my chair, because my b-hole puckered so much that I got stuck to my seat after thinking about the possibility of ASkars being a full-time gay.

But then this annoying thing called "common sense" took over ..."

Those are some lovely photos. He definitely knows what colors do him favors.

Re Kaiser, it's like Lainey said yesterday about Leo D and Cammie Diaz:

"This is a good example of why Photo Assumption is our favourite game of unreliable conclusions. Because if you just looked at this picture, you’d think that was happening, right? And it couldn’t be further from the truth. The fact that he’s even willing to be in the same frame as her means he’s totally NOT doing it with her."

That's our Skars! There has to be a restraining order-level distance between him and any women he's serious about when in public.

I'm really liking those jeans on him, they do show off his legs nicely.

Alexander Skarsgård on Exploring 'The East' and the Joys of Creative Freedom

By Hillary Weston , May 29, 2013

Following his initial reading of Zal Batmanglij and Brit Marling's brilliantly-crafted eco-thriller The East, actor Alexander Skarsgard had a simple message for his agent. "I don't care what else is coming up out there," Skarsgård said. "I want to work with these people." It wasn't only a testament to their thought-provoking and thrilling script, it was a reaction to the energy that Zal and Brit possess about their work, a voracious appetite for storytelling and a passion for making films that truly mean something and speak to the world we live in.

As one of the most sought after and versatile actors in Hollywood today, Skarsgård's been on everyone's radar this spring with a slew of films that showcase the poetic nature and striking talent wrapped inside his hulking good looks. So after seeing him as the desolate veteran and husband in Disconnect and the hapless bartender-turned-father-figure in What Maisie Knew, with Batmanglij's film we're shown a more exposed side of Skarsgard, as Benji the charismatic leader of anarchist collective The East.
