It's always hard to gauge the popularity of Alex outside of the fandom...so this might be a good indicator.Myer is mid-range for those not knowing Australian department stores. They have lots of fragrance counters etc.. No chance of me buying that for my hubs. He wears two fragrances and that's it: Gucci Rush for Men which has been discontinued and can only be sourced on Ebay at ridiculous prices (it is the best smell ever)and Beckham Signature for Him fragrance.

I wasn't around when he was allegedly dating ERW but I really like her as an actress, and not just on True Blood.
I wasn't either, I understand there was some hate expressed toward her on some sites, but don't know whether it was because the Marilyn Manson thing or the Alex situation. I like her too.
Former ballet dancer so her calves would probably still be impressive even if she wasn't really doing it that much anymore.
Not seeing anything other than a friend hug, but with new photos and those being with a rumored GF, it'll give the fandom a few days of things to get all excited about.
Now, if he'd just give us a gym clothes shot-his arms look like he's been working out again.

There were some really nasty comments about ERW because people assumed that she was the reason behind the Manson/van Teese-breakup.
I'm not interested in doing a retread of 2009 but ERW was one of the factors contributing to the DvT/MM divorce. That's been acknowledged by DvT herself and also cited in the People announcement about the divorce. But there was a lot more to it than that because people have breakups/affairs all the time. She did and said some pretty nasty stuff about/to DvT. But that's water under the bridge and she hasn't been connected to Alex for three years.

Alexander Skarsgård, the sexy Swede who plays Viking vampire Eric Northman on True Blood, has proven time and again that after five seasons on the hit telly show, he's not squeamish about showing off his booty or his chops in the sack.

He commands such attention with his tall 6ft 4in (193cm) chiselled frame, sharp tongue (and fangs), and a personality as dark and mysterious as his underground love lair, that no woman—or man, for that matter—would or can resist bending to his power, even without being "glamoured".
So, easy to see why the 36-year-old hunk has been thrown into the casting list for the movie adaptation of the erotic Fifty Shades trilogy by author EL James. The book's leading man, Christian Grey, likes a bit of rough, with "a red room of pain" strapped into his penthouse.
In this exclusive Daily Chilli phone call from New York City, set up by Calvin Klein—Skarsgård is the face for their new scent Encounter—he talks about those steamy sex scenes that make women horny and men blush.
The Daily Chilli: Let's start about the talk of a Fifty Shades Of Grey movie with your name in the mix. Your thoughts about Christian Grey and being considered to play him?
Alexander Skarsgard: I know it's a very big, high-profile project, so of course it's flattering that there are people who would like to see me do it. At the same time, it's difficult to say it's something you want to do or not because I don't think there's a script—at least I haven't read a script.
DC: You haven't read the book?
AS: No. Have you? Is it good?
DC: Yes, and that's why we're happy to hear your name on the list.
AS: Thank you (laughs). Maybe I should read all three.
DC: Would you be comfortable in that sort of role?
AS: Absolutely. That wouldn't be an issue.
DC: Because of True Blood?
AS: Exactly. I have a sex chamber in my basement—my character on True Blood—so I've had training.
DC: Do you get used to sex scenes?
AS: It doesn't bother me at all. I don't find it uncomfortable or difficult.
DC: Is there a trick to it?
AS: Relax, enjoy and have fun with it (laughs). That's my trick.
DC: What's it like being naked with Anna Paquin/Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood knowing that her husband Stephen Moyer/Bill Compton is watching? (Eric, half human/half fairy Sookie and vampire Bill are in a love triangle; Stephen and Anna have been married two years.)
AS: It's not a problem. We've worked together for five years and we're dear, dear friends. I love Anna and Stephen. We're all professionals and they know it's a job. This is what we do. I've had talks with Stephen before and he's very comfortable with it (laughs). He's not threatened.
DC: What if Anna was your wife, would you be comfortable watching Stephen do that with her?
AS: Absolutely. My father (Stellan Skarsgård, who played Dr Erik Selvig in Thor and The Avengers) is an actor, so I grew up in a family where he had to do that a lot with actresses and my mother had to deal with it. That's just part of the nature of what we do. It looks very romantic sometimes when you watch movies, but when you shoot it on the day it's not very sexy.
DC: What are you working on?
AS: We wrapped True Blood season five end of June early July, then I went to Vancouver for two months. I shot a film called Hidden. It's a post-apocalyptic film about a family in a bomb shelter. We wrapped just a couple of days ago.
DC: How was the experience filming Hidden?
AS: Pretty intense because the movie is based on a bomb shelter. It was pretty claustrophobic and I was low on energy. I was on this diet because I had to lose weight—my character was kind of skinny. For a couple of months I ate small salads and a bit of protein to lose weight. It was difficult. It was tough. I was tired and exhausted and it was very intense, but a great experience and I really enjoyed working on it. It's not a fun character to play, but I'm very happy I did it.
DC: Tell us about the character.
AS: It's about a family—a husband, a wife, their 10-year-old daughter—they're hiding in a bomb shelter, or actually a fallout shelter, that they found and have been down there almost a year. I don't want to reveal too much, but there's something—or someone—looking for them. So they're trying to hide and trying to survive.
DC: What other movies are next?
AS: I shot three films last year that are on the festival circuit now, or at least two of them are—Henry James' novel, What Maisie Knew, with Julianne Moore. We were in Toronto for the film festival and I shot another one called Disconnect. One called The East, about a group of eco-anarchist; they're editing it. All three will be out next year.
Calvin Klein's Encounter is Skarsgård's first endorsement, and he says he's very "humbled and honoured" to have been asked since the brand never has a celebrity fronting their scents. So what attracted him to star in the campaign?
"It's a combination," Skarsgård told DC. "It was a creative team that I'd worked with before. I worked with (campaign creative director) Fabien Baron—we did an interview with Interview magazine two years ago—and (Steven Klein) the guy who took my photograph for the campaign shot me for that. I really enjoyed working with the two of them."
"I've also worked with (Dutch model) Lara Stone—we did a thing with Peter Lindbergh for Vogue US also two years ago," he added.
"And it's Calvin Klein. It's a fantastic house and it's something I felt comfortable doing. … I talked to Fabien and he told me the idea and the concept, and it sounded interesting and cool, like a fun experience," Skarsgård said.
The ad campaign for Encounter tells the story of the unresolved tension and desire between a man and a woman, played by Skarsgård and Stone.
It's a two-minute-plus film that takes on a classic film noir feel, where the narrative creative unfolds through a complex game "in which the man ultimately remains in control of his desires, leaving the story open to infinite possibilities".
Meanwhile, the scent is described as "masculine", "intriguing" and "seductive". It's an addictive blend of crisp spice, warm cognac and sensual woods.
Guys, if you know your scents, expect whiffs of mandarin, cardamom and rum in the top notes, pepper, Egyptian jasmine, patchouli and cognac in the middle, with base notes of agarwood, atlas cedarwood and musk.
"It's very sensual," said Skarsgård. "I like it a lot. It's a great scent. I'm a big fan."
Calvin Klein's Encounter eau de toilette—packaged in a heavyweight glass bottle with "unique shattered design" in rich, deep blue—is available at RM152 (30ml), RM230 (50ml) and RM314 (100ml). The collection comes with a 100ml aftershave spray priced at RM212 and a 200ml hair and body wash for RM113.

Thats wonderful news for ERW and JB. I LOVE Billy Elliot one of my fave movies.
I was on ONTD at the time of the hookup. They were all in love with him and he was their summer BF, but they all "dumped" Alex after pics surfaced of them at the music festival.
New pictures, looks like his gained all the weight he lost. Hopefully we will get some new pics from this event

Geez...The Daily Chilli need to redefine their use of the word "exclusive"...that's a rehash of his last few interviews almost word for word.
As for ERW...she was young...really young when she was with MM. I said and did stupid things relationship-wise myself at that age. She doesn't get a free pass...but times change..people can too...even after only a few years. I wish her all the best in her marriage. She was great in The Ides of March.

I think it's great. ERW and JB are a great couple and fit perfectly together. I like them as actors as well (The Ides of March was indeed great). They actually could make it in the long run given they know each other longer than Marilyn Manson's marriage, relationships and affairs combined. And there never was a serious chance the "thing" with Alex would go on. I mean they were too different, the age difference of more than 10 years, she's full-blown twitter generation, he doesn't even know how to spell twitter (kidding). So yeah Jamie is perfect for her and given that one GQ interview she won the jackpot with Jamie too. 
Alicia is driving Mini Cooper, that's awesome. I'm having a feeling they have a big comeback here as a city car. I see them everywhere. They're perfect for the city, you get into every parking lot but they're still bigger than a Porsche which means you can put your shopping bags in there.

If I could afford a Mini I'd buy one too (we even have a Mini dealership here so I can at least look at them) but sadly I can't even afford a Polo.
