Rutger Hauer is gonna play a part in season 6 of TB, yay!
According to TVLine, True Blood has already made its first major Season 6 casting hire.
Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner) is joining the show as Macklyn, a mysterious and sinister figure with deep ties to Sookie and Jason. Hmmm, I wonder if this character has any relation to the infamous Warlow that has been rumored to appear in Season 6?
Hauer is well known for his portrayal of Blade Runners Roy Batty, a renegade robot trying to evade capture in Ridley Scotts classic sci-fi film. But the Dutch actor has a varied resume that includes parts in movies like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Batman Begins and Sin City and guest roles in TVs Smallville and Alias. In 1988, he won a Golden Globe for his work in the TV movie Escape From Sobibor.
True Blood season 6 is scheduled to start next June. Cant wait!

He had it on for the GQStyle shoot, and that was right before he started shooting Hidden. Wouldn't be surprised if he took it off for that and just hasn't put it back on yet.

ok, lawd, I used to have a huge a** crush on Rutger Hauer, which is weird, I don't normally like blondes, so there you go. That will work for TB though, great casting coup for them.
Kayleigh gets the "sharp eye of the day" award for the necklace, good point. I can't tell how consistent he is with it but it does reappear time in and out. ml44 wins yesterday for SSD, it has been ages since we've seen him. I want him to go back to LA and run into Beige and her tiny man in the supermarket and relive old times at Bristol Farms with the paps...
