The interpreter of Eric in the HBO fantasy series of horror has an interview after the huge crowd that fans have welcomed yesterday the episodes of the 5th season (airing in October on Fox) along with Kristin Bauer van Straten and Valentina Cervi.

I think it's an important step because we have expanded the mirror of the themes and tone of the series, we are confronted with a more political approach without forgetting the fun that is the basis of the series. This allows me to have a different relationship with Bill that I find very interesting. In addition, the break of five months between the preparation and the work of the different seasons also allows me to be able to recharge the batteries, make films, and more, so that the return - and at this time the writers write - I am even more excited to discover that way they have done to take the series.
And this year in these 5 months off, what did you do?
I shot Hidden, produced by Warner Bros. and directed by brothers Duffer, a story set in a very intense all nuclear shelter where for 300 days a family escape a catastrophe. E 'was n'esperienza hard, almost always in the dark, so I lost weight 8 pounds eating salad and water and without power I had to face intense physical evidence. Now I'm charging for True Blood and it's strange: when, just finished shooting, I found myself on the red carpet of the Emmy I found blinding lights compared to rats with which I compared a few days before.
Last night you had another demonstration of how much you love the fans: how do you maintain a relationship as strong as actors with the fandom?
I'm excited about the basis of our fans who support us incessantly for 5 years. Here in Rome I did not know what to expect because the last time I was there, 10 years ago, True Blood did not yet exist, and it was great to feel the love of people even outside of where you work. In our work we are everything, and our job is to make them happy and emozionarli and this is the first thought, when we read the scripts as we go around doing the promotional tour: when meeting the public are always happy and grateful.
So how grateful and happy were also two ladies of the cast present at the press conference, so Kristin - "I've been on a diet for eight months to meet the public with my skinny jeans more. The change of showrunner, with Ball that leaves the helm after five years, the actors are confident: "It will not change anything - says Skarsgard - because Alan is not going anywhere. The series is one of his creatures and although a little spring 'will continue to read the scripts, to produce, to supervise the work in some way. " Reassurance for Bauer who does not like change. While comparing with Twilight and other vampire series is immediately damped by Deer: "The vampire is an excuse to talk about something else, to paint with more colors the human soul", while Bauer has read Twilight when she was single and depressed when he felt the age of the grandchildren who now worship "But I hate the idea that vampires can walk in the sun." And as for the hot scenes and the atmosphere sexy? Easy: "Just go around naked and excited, the set of True Blood is not always so."

Yeah doesn't sound really excited at all. Well, it's not surprising. Alex is not a big name in Germany (unlike Stellan) and True Blood doesn't air here regularly so it definitely won't be him who'll be selling those little scent bottles here. And I think it was not a smart move to invite all these fashion bloggers. Sure, CK also sells fashion but this was about a fragrance and Alex therefore the confusion among them. I guess that was also the reason Alex left pretty quickly. They didn't know what to do with him and he didn't wanna talk about fashion all night long. Let's be real here the whole evening was pointless but at least TinyBee got to see him.

Slightly OT but still hilarious and Swedish. Picasso trying to hide French people from the Germans. Every time the captain enters the room he says "half a liter" and the soldier calls him "central station" instead of "captain". The actor who plays Picasso, Gösta Ekman, I saw him in the streets of Stockholm this summer.
