I do think that Alex is looking good (well, maybe a bit tired) at the latest pics from L.A. I don't like him toooo bulk up (like Straw Dogs) but hey, that's just my personal taste. I'm sure that he will gain weight as soon as he finished Hidden and will be back in shape for you Ladies at least at by the time the shooting of True Blood starts at the end of this year.

He maybe on a list some where, but I highly doubt he's really interested at all.
I know there are people who love that trilogy like it's the second coming of whatever, but even strictly in terms of typecasting he should avoid it.
Given how tied down he's been to the TB schedule (no matter how grateful he is for the FU money or how much I love the series) I can't see Alex being keen to sign a lengthy contract again.
I think the leads have been very diplomatic about this. But, even though they obviously love being on the show for many reasons, I get the impression they're ready to move on. It's great to to have the FU money, and that stability, and a place to work for 8-9 months out of the year, a place that you love. But the schedule has constrained them. It's a double-edged sword, the show has given AS (and SM) more exposure, and there for probably more offers, and yet the show's schedule has also prevented from taking advantage of all those offers.

This is where the FU money should come in to play for Alex. A perfect use for it. Say no to stinking piles of doo-doo masquerading as mommy porn/bedside sexual aids. The ridiculous language and just plain bad writing should be enough of a deterant. Did we learn nothing from Twilight?
There's a ton of great fan fic out there, well written with a touch of erotica and this is the one that gets shot to super stardom? It offends my sensibilities both as a reader and a pervert.

Exactly!!! The worst part part of slogging my way through the first book was the depressing notion that there were people out there finding it a turn on
One of the worst parts at least, the fact that my brain was turning to sludge and dripping out of my ears throughout wasn't great either.On topic, I've read that Alex chooses projects by character so I think we're safe on this as Christian Grey doesn't actually have a character other than the fact that his trousers hang from his hips (as is mentioned every second sodding page), unlike the rest of us who dangle them from our left ears.
Also on topic I am all but hopping from one foot to the other waiting for Disconnect to be released in Sweden - it looks excellent!
