Is there any confirmation of that, because I've not seen anything from HBO. I know there are rumors, but nothing confirmed. And Janina Gavankar just did an interview this week where she mentioned they should start filming on time, meaning end of November/beginning of December.

And in reality, since she's due in October, they could still start on their regular schedule, she'd just be still shot from the waist up and not move a lot, much like the end of this season.

BC, there are a couple of articles out, must be from some comment Alan Ball made because as I noted, they say he made some point about "and of course the economics" which is a random thing if they weren't quoting him. I would guess EW or TVLine will pick up if it's real.

ETA: are they making GOT 12 episodes next year instead of 10, which I think they have been? That might also shift their order

apparently is only going to be 10 episodes next season and they dont start until january 2013 because of anna pregnancy makes sense about anna but only 10 episodes come on really

It's odd because they say it's partly because of Anna and partly due to the economics. Not sure how they mean that.

Duh! Of course she can move again and fit into size zero. If Victoria Beckham and Gisele Bündchen can do it in 4 weeks it can't be so hard. She'll be skinny in a minute again. She has over a month. *note: I'm just kidding*

This is another indication for me it's the last season. They obviously just need 10 episodes (or just got 10 granted by HBO) to wrap up all the stories and end the thing. I guess you only need 12 episodes if you start a whole new story arc plus cliffhanger and stuff.

Ah, it's the TV Guide interview. The economics quote is odd though, I'd always thought that TB did rather well for HBO.

TV Guide Magazine: Will Anna be back full time right away after the birth of her twins in November?
Ball: She is. We're moving production to January to accommodate her. And there will only be 10 shows next season partly because of Anna and partly because of the economics

Heck, she was in great shape before the pregnancy, she should be able to do it in two weeks, one for each. /snark

ETA: and as is already being pointed out on other sites, they can do 10 episodes by cutting out the side stories. And Alcide (looks around for Mik).

Thanks, Jacky, Buckeye & Bag.:smile1:

If the quote about 10 episodes is current/accurate, that's very disappointing. They're going GOT on us and it does seem like a last season move. I hope it's not the final one. I'm really going to miss it.

What Maisie Knew - World Premiere at TIFF Info.

USA, 2012, English, Drama

Cast: Julianne Moore, Alexander Skarsgård, Steve Coogan, Onata Aprile, Joanna Vanderham

Based on a contemporary interpretation of the classic Henry James novel, and set in present day New York City, the story centers on Maisie, a charming but vulnerable seven-year-old girl enmeshed in the bitter divorce of her mother (Julianne Moore), an aging rock and roll icon, and her distracted and meandering father (Steve Coogan), an international art dealer. As Maisie is shuttled back and forth between them, she comes to rely more and more on her parents’ new companions; the happy go-lucky hunky bartender Lincoln (Alexander Skarsgård) and the “soon to be” ex-nanny Margo (Joanna Vanderham). With the two of them taking over the responsibilities of watching over Maisie, they begin to see how selfish and damaged Maisie’s parents really are, and find themselves falling in love with one another. Maisie sees how they each match far more than her own parents match them. In Margo and Lincoln, Maisie finds the parenting, the love and the family she craves.

Darkly comic and emotionally compelling, WHAT MAISIE KNEW is an evocative portrayal of the chaos and complexity of modern relationships and the meaning of family.

Heck, they could make GoT 22 episodes and still not fit all the book in.

I think that this will be the final season, but I'd rather miss it than wonder why it didn't end sooner (like the X-Files).

The interview belongs to NBC and some footage belongs to Sony Pictures Movies & Shows.

Sweden has chosen the city which will hold the Eurovision Song Contest next year. And surprise it's not Stockholm, it's ... Malmö. *gag* What a "brilliant" choice. Let's see how many of the competitors will survive their stay in Malmö. And also the venue they've chosen is way too small.
But seriously, it's not like Göteborg or Stockholm would've been competent enough, right?

I get where you are coming from but perhaps Malmo was chosen to help with the overall regeneration of the area :shrugs: Could be a shout out for the less fashionable areas and the little people :smile1:

Am I the only one who thinks he's much sexier NOT smiling. He's not unattractive when smiling, but I think he looks goofy/cute. I think it's his veneers -they're too boxy or something (remind me of Jim Carrey).

Well, then I recommend you to read the comments on the official ESC FB page because most Swedes are like WTF?!?!! And mostly it's not about regenerate this area because I think due to the Öresund Bridge they got a lot of motion there with Danes/Germans coming in and the Turning Torso attracts too but it's more about that they're not capable of holding such a big event. I believe the biggest venue they got can hold 15000 people and that's not enough if you consider that people will travel there from allover Europe (which weirdly includes Israel and Azerbaijan but let's not talk about that). Yeah and the fact that someone gets shot down or stabbed with a knife every two weeks (I'm exaggerating) is not attractive either. At least that's the only thing we get from Malmö in the news. :shrugs: Just saying. Back on topic.

Thanks, Free.:smile1:

Not sure when this was taken but I think this may be from today and may be from Canada.
They have a Chapters bookstore in Vancouver, Canada on Robson Street which seems to be one of his favorite haunts for food and entertainment.

OT: Clip of Rebel Wilson talking about a letter she received from her neighbor. I haven't seen her in much but I've loved her since Bridesmaids.

So Alex is back in Vancouver now? I'm going there next week for a holiday so I'll let you know if I saw him downtown and a pic would be nice too. :p

OT: And I love Rebel Wilson too! She was on Jimmy Kimmel recently (links below) and she was explaining her Australian dog show upbringing with her kooky family. And siblings named Liberty, Riot and Anarchy. The Kriss Kross rap is funny too.

Not sure he's left since he got there a month ago, unless it's weekend trips out of the city. Excluding the possibility of TIFF next weekend, he should be in Vancouver through the middle of September.
