That, or he was a pizza boy with a dark side and a forgetful nature. (hey, even models have to eat!)
Pizza boy - bwahahaha! Yes, he could be a bit more engaged but he is pretty and he gets the hot chick. Which in order to get guys (or their girlfriends) to buy the cologne, mission accomplished.

o/t but Prince Harry is going to be in so. much. trouble. Granny will not be amused. Skars' drunken nudity looks amateurish by comparison.

Well at least we know the carpets match the drapes....Prince Hot Ginge indeed.
Oh my. First the Ryan Lochte drunk plunge news, now he is stripping? Nice...tan lines. Someone got an eyeful of the crown jewels, I'm sure that will circulate.

Hi Everyone~
Just visiting from Joel's thread and I see that you all are having alot of fun over here. And I must say that Alex's pics of late are very nice. A very handsome man.

Always, totally OT but I'm piping mad about Joel's GF's disparaging comments on Letterman about Sweden. First, as a fellow American, I hate to see ignorant Americans popping off about the problems with people from "other countries" coming to the U.S. having an opinion about us, including our politics because we do have a long way to go on that front. Our country is based on free speech and that includes everyone, sweetie! And her sarcasm about her trip to Sweden. It's makes us more cultured Americans look ugly too, when we don't feel the same way. I know this was probably meant for Joel to hear specifically because they're in a fight or whatever, but I just wanted to say this cause I love my Stockholm-born friends here in Seattle so no one messes with Sweden! :nogood::lecture: Hee hee! She's like Beige to me. Thank you for reading my catharsis! :blushing: I'll be back to pop in about Mr Alex (Seattle isn't too far from Vancouver) and come check in with us, too!
The whole thing was pretty unnecessary. Not that any of us don't get weary of traveling and hearing others pick apart your homeland, but geez, you were a guest, and did you need to use that story? At least Beige made it sound like her adventures in Sweden were all blissful bike rides, magical starry nights and antique shopping, even though I'm sure Skars' friends ignored her.

Just saw HBO run another long promo for the finale - oh, don't kill Sam, Bill, that would be beyond lame.

I dunno, I watched the clip and thought that the bigger problem was that she's not a very good storyteller rather than that she said anything particularly obnoxious. In my experience, Swedes are pretty self deprecating and find foreigners' odd experiences with them hilarious, so I'm pretty confident that Joel's friends would fall about laughing at the idea of her staring in confusion at the mist on the lake while they were all excited. That said, she could have built it into a funny anecdote, and she really didn't so it just came off a bit awkward and odd.

Well, it depends. If they didn't like her when she was on Sweden visit I'm pretty sure they're not excited about those comments. It's the same with Beige making those comments about drunk Swedes which made them all look like alcoholics. They got riled up about that too. So certain things they don't take lightly. And Stockholm is not the rest of Sweden.

I'm out of the loop on PH.
Is TMZ the only outlet that has the photos or are there uncensored ones too?

I've always loved Prince harry but especially after Jamaica. I like that he's fun.

Alex's Calvin Klein ad is very cinematic and it has been done before, but it works for me. ;)

Exactly! She was invited into his life in Sweden and even got to go to a music fest with him (we would love that!) with the trust that she could be discreet about the trip. She betrayed the trust to appear "funny" on a talk show. Hopefully that will be enough for him to at least cool things off with her and it would be a good time since Robocop production starts in a few weeks.

Yeah, I hadn't thought about the fact that his friends / acquaintances could have been f****** with her and she was too dumb to realize that they weren't serious. And it would be hilarious for them now to see her on national tv, being the bad storyteller, talking about it.

I didn't like that she portrayed Swedes like flighty simpletons and she's the smart, funny American who gets to mock them with other Americans. She's from the same kind of lame state in the U.S. I'm from and I fled to the coast to leave people like her who think that way about other countries.
BagBerry also pointed out that she always tries to get a laugh at anothers expense, usually the people she's closest to. That works with comedians because they are also self-deprecating, like Swedes, but she has no skills so she comes off sounding like a b****.
Thanks everyone, for your perspective!

Well possibly, but that's not what I meant - just that whenever I've told funny stories about being confused or surprised by Swedish ways, most Swedes have thought it hilarious rather than being insulted, it sort of suits their dry sense of humour. But that's not to say I'm defending her story - it's a crap and pretty dull story whether or not it's actually insulting!

Thanks, Free & Phant.:smile1:

I don't know but I like how you think.

Also, it's too bad TMZ doesn't have a better sense of humor; instead of the star on that one pic they could have used this-

:drinks:

or this-

:partyhat:

or, most appropriately, this-

:king:
Thanks! I like the way you think too.:smile1:
With all the pic leaks and cell phone hackings, it's gotten to the point where I just kind of assume uncensored versions are floating around when I hear about the latest celebrity nude photo scandal.:p

Oh, I see what you're saying now and you're right about the dry sense of humor. I think I thought it was insulting because it came from a Middle America perspective, surprise surprise, right? I was ticked for my Swedish peeps when many are probably like, whatever. Hee hee.

Which is why I didn't like her on The Daily Show, she didn't seem to have any comedic skills.

Thanks for the stills Santress - interesting, is that sunlight or moonlight behind them? Can't believe this roller coaster is coming to a halt, but hopefully it pays off!

Top pic? Moonlight, or porch light?
