Hey there, long time lurker and infrequent poster, here. Truebloodster's recent post inspired me to pipe up (see her words below) I'd like to see Alex do a Dior Homme Fragrance commercial like the ones Guy Ritchie did for Jude Law or a commercial for Chanel Egoiste (imagine the accent marks) or a Tom Ford ad. mmm

I really loved the Vogue July 2011 photos the most because it referenced my favorite movie, "The Conformist" by Bernardo Bertolucci, and Alex did an excellent job of conveying the mood of that film and its themes. See the film if you ever get the chance. I'd love to see Alex work with Bertolucci one day.

I think this board will perk up after Season 4 debuts on HBO in the US. I'm really looking forward to the new season.

Trubloodster said "For those who hardly ever, or never post here. If you are unhappy in the direction this thread is heading. Post something!!!! You can and will control the tone of this thread by posting your thoughts. Instead of calling out those who frequent this site, and post your distaste in the negativity, post a statement like "alex looks so good i could eat him". You will most likely have several people post their agreement. Positivity is infectious... Spread the love!!!"

Mme. D'Aulnoy :urock: I love your Avatar. I would also love to see Alex in a Dior commercial. Then, he and Charlize could have dueling Dior perfume ads.

Thanks for spreading the love, Madame

I just love Kristin. She's my second favorite character on TB. You can tell there's just pure platonic love for Alex in her.

Just like Pam would do anything for Eric, he would do anything for her. We saw a new, more compassionate side of Alex’s character last season too.
"Their relationship is just so wonderful. It’s so easy because how Pam feels about Eric I feel about Alex. It’s not acting, I don’t have to pretend. I love that man, he is so kind, gentle, funny. He just is a great person, so I am lucky that our scenes are together. We have a great time on set."

I don’t think I would get anything done during those scenes where he is basically naked.
"I just stare the first couple takes! I was single the first years doing True Blood! It was distracting [laughs]. We have very good looking men on our set, with great bodies, and yes, Alex especially! But he’s so Swedish, he’s so comfortable with [being naked]. It’s like we’re prudes here [in America]. I think they do it right in Europe, being naked just isn’t a big deal to them. Alex doesn’t care at all."

Neither do we!
[Laughs]. "Yep! He’s ready to go, he just doesn’t care. And [the nudity] does make sense in our script. The show is sexy, it’s fun, and everyone gets along on set. We all come together for each other."

It could also be that Alex will be at a concert of her husband at July 14th.

So what’s next for you?
"I’m putting together a True Blood charity concert on July 14 in Los Angeles, and Abri will perform. The entire cast said if they are in town they are coming. Everyone really helps each other out, they are such good people. So it’s wonderful to be apart of a group and cast like that. Alex especially has been great. He helped me raise money by auctioning off a portrait of him. See what I mean? He’s just a great guy."

Thanks for this ^^^

I really, really hope they do a flashback episode where we get to see how Pam and Eric met, if not this season then next season, they really do have great chemistry. Plus there would almost certainly be a sex scene. :p

No Alex at ComicCon this year:

hollywoodnews.com: Per HBO’s announcement, the “True Blood” cast will attend Comic Con 2011 in San Diego late next month. The July 2nd panel will feature Alan Ball, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Kevin Alejandro, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Nelsan Ellis, Joe Manganiello and Deborah Ann Woll (Entertainment Weekly’s Tim Stack will moderate).

Conspicuously absent will be Alexander Skarsgard, the sexy Swede who has gained nearly as much attention for his role as co-stars Anna Paqin and Stephen Moyer. His absence belies his resilience during the Season 3 finale, during which his character Eric survives both exposure to the sunlight and being buried alive.

Also announced were lineups for “Game of Thrones” (which will include uthor George R.R. Martin as moderator, with attendees including David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Jason Moma and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

“True Blood” will appear at Comic-Con for the fourth time; for “Game of Thrones” the 2011 event will be its first.
