:goodpost: Mik. ITA

Speaking for myself here.... Sometimes I just need to vent my frustration, and sometimes I need to profess my infatuation. It's nice to have a place to post my thoughts, and it's good to get things off my chest. I treat this site as a sounding board and then I move on. Unfortunately, once I hit the submit icon my words are forever a direct reflection of me (even though I may not feel that way a few hours or a few days later). I hope people don't take my words or posts too seriously (because I don't). This forum should be a place where we can all obsess over Alex, good or bad. I think some people have taken this site, and what is said here, way too seriously. Please, take what I say here with a grain of salt. In the big scheme of things, these issues really don't matter.

For those who hardly ever, or never post here. If you are unhappy in the direction this thread is heading. POST SOMETHING!!!! You can and will control the tone of this thread by posting your thoughts. Instead of calling out those who frequent this site, and post your distaste in the negativity, post a statement like "Alex looks so good I could eat him". You will most likely have several people post their agreement. Positivity is infectious... Spread the love!!!

I am not saying I don't respect those who post concern or frustration with Alex. I can sympathize with what everyone is saying... Good, bad or indifferent.

This is a great site because everyone has the ability to read or censor the posts here. If you don't like what you're reading, Don't Read It!. No, one is being forced or subjected to anything here. This site was pretty much near death for about a month. Soooo is nothing better than some people's opinions?? I would rather read posts from KB herself than nothing at all. (I'm reaching a bit, but hopefully making my point)

I think I have very high expectations of Alex, unfair as that may be. I want to see him soar and be great!! Most of all, I want him to be happy.

Thanks for listening me.... Now Go Procreate!!! :D

ITA TBster ... that was the thing that attracted me to this forum in the first place (well, besides the obvious love/lust/infatuation/obsession with a certain tall blond sex god), plus the posts were knowledgeable, sometimes funny as h***, and the pics/vids are frickin' GORGEOUS!

Hey GudinnaMaya! I hope you don't mind, but everytime I see your name I think of Iron Butterfly's song "In A Gadda Da Vida" ! I love that song!! Here it is...

Ah Mik, you honor me (in a 60s retro stoned flower childe kind of way), sooo ... WTF, is it the G sound? "In a Gadda Da Vida," "Good on you mate," whatever.
  • Think of me, think of me fondly
    when we've said goodbye ...
    Remember me, Every so often,
Please promise me you'll try ...

I like your idea Moo :graucho: an underwear ad (armani, ck - I don't even care for which brand as long as Askars JUST in underwear is involved) would be

but what I'd love to see him in even more would be an ad for shower gel..you know..Askars, all naked in a shower- only this time WITHOUT a shower curtain :woot::faint:

YES yes yes yes yes yes!! A lovely outline of the GP in the underwear please and no d*** shower curtain EVER and slo mo please with arms up as the water gently cascades down to that which we must see! :D

Hee hee...I think for me it's the G sound in your name and aya sound near the end. Who knows? There's some kind of method to my madness, but I haven't figured it out yet ;).

(apologies if this was already posted)

I'm not sure how many Aussies we have (at least two and they are far afield from melbourne, I think) but it looks like "Melancholia" is playing at the Melbourne Film Festival-

http://www.indiewire.com/article/me...stival_to_screen_drive_melancholia_and_other/

A total of 25 films which screened this May in Cannes will make their way down under for the 2011 Melbourne International Film Festival, including some of its most prominent successes. “Drive,” a high-octane speed triller with Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan which won the Director’s prize for Danish auteur Nicolas Winding Refn, will screen along with Lars Von Trier’s “Melancholia,” Julia Leigh’s “Sleeping Beauty”, Maiwenn le Besco’s “Polisse,” which won the Jury Prize, and “The Kid with the Bike,” the latest from Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne.
The festival has also acquired films from outside of Cannes’ main competition. From Un Certain Regard, MIFF will screen the Jury Prize-winning Russian film “Elena,” Bruno Dumont’s “Outside Satan” and Sean Durkin’s “Martha Marcy May Marlene,” which found acclaim at Sundance earlier this year.
From Director’s Fortnight, MIFF will screen the much-praised Belgian coming of age film “The Giants,” Natalia Almada’s “El Velador” and “The Silence of Joan,” the latest filmed adaptation of the Joan of Arc story, helmed by “Capitaine Achab” director Philippe Ramos.
The full program will be announced July 5, and the 2011 festival will run July 21 - August 7.

you got the drift my JMT extraordinaire :ghi5:
I mean not that I am surprised, but still...;):D:graucho:

GOOD GOD..now I really..like DESPERATELY want him to shoot a shower gel commercial :blushing:

*sigh* quoting is almost impossible on iPad.

I agree, underwear ad, but no television, I could see a giant billboard .....................nuff said

I am also in Oz, but far from Melbourne, I'm sure it will hit Sydney at some point though.

Little bit of fun ladies, if you could pick an ad campaign for Alex to front what would it be? Personally I'd love to see him in a mean and moody Armani underwear ad...an easy pick I know but it would make me soooo happy! :graucho:

A Nescafe ad for instant Orange Mocha Frappucino's :p

I'm in Perth but moving to Canberra in 3 weeks so the timing of the Festival is perfect. Melbourne is only a 3 hr drive and film festivals are totally up my alley. Will try to make it, not just for Melancholia though.

Pretty sad that I have to correct myself

Canberra is 7 hours (probably 5 with my other halfs leadfoot) from Melbourne...so like Sydney1988, I may have to see if it shows elsewhere.

@Syd...the Sydney Film Festival is on right now....but Melancholia isn't playing http://sff.org.au/public/films/all-films/
