The Straw Dogs release date in Australia has moved back a month to 17 Nov, 2011
Battleship is scheduled for 24th May 2012

Melancholia isn't on the schedule yet. Did they end up finding distribution for it and was that only for the North American release? I'm gathering if its on at the Melbourne Film Fest they may have found a distributor here.

Re the Vogue thing, meh, I doubt he'd say that, just like I doubt he told them to talk about him being Sweden's Sexiest Man. They kind of fill in blanks and she's been featured in Vogue before.

And yes, TB cannot come too soon.:cool:

Really? alex enjoys her company so much?? I question that!!! once again did they have to mention her, I hate having to read artical's about alex and some how she gets mentioned as his GF when alex has never even claimed her as his GF.
Also I wonder if alex actually approved of the artical and what they wrote before it went into print edition

i dont think actors do aprove of articles.

they just get asked questions and the writer talks about their body language in the articles and what not.

i mean that why in some atricles of celebs they always say they were miss quoted and i didnt mean that etc...

i dont think they see the finishing product till we do hence "they miss quoted me"

Hey there, long time lurker and infrequent poster, here. Truebloodster's recent post inspired me to pipe up (see her words below) I'd like to see Alex do a Dior Homme Fragrance commercial like the ones Guy Ritchie did for Jude Law or a commercial for Chanel Egoiste (imagine the accent marks) or a Tom Ford ad. mmm

I really loved the Vogue July 2011 photos the most because it referenced my favorite movie, "The Conformist" by Bernardo Bertolucci, and Alex did an excellent job of conveying the mood of that film and its themes. See the film if you ever get the chance. I'd love to see Alex work with Bertolucci one day.

I think this board will perk up after Season 4 debuts on HBO in the US. I'm really looking forward to the new season.
