I was being a bit sarcastic with my previous post! I suppose it's comical how some tend to read into every little detail.
I'm shocked at the revelations that My Skarsgard was an alcoholic - all along the assumptions were that it was the guys in the family who had more of an inclination toward the bottle, whil My was the good caring mom at home, but apparentely she started drinking at 42 (Alex was about 17) when she was diagnosed with cancer because she was scared of dying and unfortunately kept on drinking after the scare had gone - that's the reason behing hers and stellan's divorce...

I remember reading a Swedish article which stated My was a Alcohol counselor...So I think she is actively helping others which makes sense for her to publicly speak out about her disease.
