Sounds like they caught Stephen at a bad time. He seems to normally pose for photos. I think some people may have even gotten pics with him last night.

Yea, that sounds really uncharacteristic of Stephen. He's usually is more than willing to take photos with fans. Off couple of nights, I guess?

Here's her follow up to that post:

All right, I’m not going to go individually and reply to peoples comments about what I said about Stephen Moyer. Okay, maybe he has been nice to you - comment person - or someone you know, but last night he was rude to his fans — all week while filming in La Puente he has been rude to his fans that now people didn’t even want to try and talk to him.
Again, I understand that yes he is just a person and I could see under different circumstances wanting to rush back to your trailer if say Press was there, or some mob of people and you felt threatened but like I said, there was probably less than 20 people last night - most of which were just fans of the show and people who live nearby trying to figure out what was going on. I talked to a dad and his kids who knew nothing about the show and asked me questions.
This is also not my first time meeting someone famous, but I usually talk to musicians and approach them, I think people regard actors too highly — but that’s just my personal opinion.
** Also, I’m not some hardcore True Blood fan. Yes I watch the show, but I’ve never read the books and I don’t care too.
So I don’t have a feeling either way for the characters or even the actors, Stephen Moyer is a good looking guy but the way he acted last night, and all of this week is telling of his personality and how he feels towards his fans.
Maybe other people have had other encounters with him which were good, but I’m just reporting on what happened and what I saw.
And I could even go as much to understand if it was only one night he behaved this way, like maybe he had a difficult time or you know, people just have one of those days — but to be like this all week to his fans, to those who waited for hours off set just to say hi and maybe snap a quick picture.

And to me, that’s why I dig Alexander Skarsgard more so now, just because he was so nice and took the time to wait a few seconds while my sis got the camera to work to try and snap a photo. Like I said, it probably took him at most 3mins to get back to his trailer, but he made his fans last night so happy just by that act that that made me really respect him even more for understanding that without silly fans like us they wouldn’t have a hit show.

If you want to bash what I said about Stephen Moyer or say some silly comment, that’s fine. And if you’ve had a great experience with him that’s great and I’m happy for you — but I’m not going to retract what I said since really, that behavior was uncalled for and I will look at him differently now. Again, I’m stating from experience.

So I read this and it is intriguing cause I met both men while I fancy one and I think the other is sweet. I tend to believe this lady (of what happened that night) cause I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen and Anna and they were both sweet and lovely but it was at Paley and they were both working it and I can dig and appreciate that.

Alex I have met outside work fuctions/ Puss and normally and he was over sweet and accommodating in all cases. funny I spoke to him about fan encounters very briefly and his response was that he DOES GET ASKED ALOT to sign/pic etc and if you look on tumblr, blogs, FB etc you can see it is true and in all cases he is Over sweet and kind and NOT a ***** about it. I do understand that these people have lives and I am sure that he and Stephen must have days like WTF I am tired or I just can't.

Fans are a funny thing, it's not like your meeting the same person all the time, it alot of different people that might see you in the street or shop or JOANS and want a pic or something while you just stopped and signed for 30 other people.

My point is I don't think Stephen the type that's is okay a fan I will just suck it up and say cheese kinda person I figure he is according to his mood and maybe he was in a foul week. But there is the difference I am sure Alex has foul weeks/days but he always seem to make room for a fan and I think that is awesome.

As for Stephen i still like him as a person, maybe he's having some issues that was NOT obvious to the seeing eye. he is after human he is allowed to say NO, even if it is to a FAN. But it's how you say NO tho Stephen, it is not the message it's how it was delivered

All is right with the world again - more pics, Saywat is back, and Skars is still friendly to his fans. Not sure what to make of the Stephen Moyer situation. Living in the Midwest, never met either one of them, but I always got a good vibe off of Stephen. Love his interviews. I really enjoy Brit humor and he seems to epitomize that. I'm just glad that Skars is still friendly to his fans. I still haven't heard a bad story about any fan encounter. One of the reasons I like him.

Saywat, there is no reason to stay away from any of those things. None at all...!

Thanks for the pics Santress - it's sort of interesting how they look normal under the lights but Skars looks chalky as hell in that fan pic. Kind of cool to see the work in action. Re the Moyer thing - agree with the comments here, hard to know what the truth of it is, except you cement a fan's love with the little things and unfortunately that's the story that person will carry away from that experience. I generally think that the TB folks have a good rep for being friendly, nice to fans, participate in a lot of fan-related forums like Paley and ComicCon and are good eggs, so hopefully this doesn't become the common line on SM. But glad to see Alex still takes time with everyone and makes their day...:cool:

Entertainment Tonight just finished on TV. I was on the phone, so i was only watching with one eye, but they had a segment on about too skinny models, actresses and showed Beige in several pictures along with Leann Rhimes and several others. Didn't hear what they said, I only noticed the visuals. I know we have an obesity problem here in the States, but we also have the opposite problem. A few days ago, I saw the Vogue pics of the plus size models and they looked beautiful. The sad thing was that they looked normal, but were considered plus size. Getting off my soap box now. Sorry for the off topic rant.

ETA: supposedly they had a TB clip/promo earlier in the show. Why couldn't I have been watching then?

I saw that Alan Ball quote about female wish fulfillment. That gives me hope for this season. Even though AB doesn't necessarily want it, I think he gets we want it and hopefully we get it.

The other thing I've noticed on the Inside HBO blog - recently as they've been interviewing people from the series, whether they are actors or crew, they finish with the question Team Eric or Team Bill. In spite of their creative vision, I think they get what the majority of people want. What I want.

I just had a terrible image in my head

Do you think Alex and kb will pose for photo shoots in the lead up to SD with her all covered in JM ? And worst there will be a video of her all smug! Jen aniston just a a photoshoots with her costar for her new movie in one of the fashion mags, don't remember which one.

They might... who knows.:blah: But shes more likely to pose with James Marsden, right? Since he is played her husband in the movie and he's the main character really.

I'm not sure.... too many variables. It depends on if they are together or not, if the breakup was amicable or not. It's a delicate situation because Alex's character is portrayed as a rapist with %#&@ character as the victim. It could backlash if they come off being too coupley while promoting the film. It also depends on if they have any obligations to promote the movie.

Since many international films have several premiers, I think it would be easy for them to promote the movie without having to actually be together. I can see Alex promoting the film in Sweden or Europe.
I find it interesting that Alex has not talked about Straw Dogs a whole hell of a lot. I totally expected him to talk about Straw Dogs in the Interview article.

I think unless things change after True Blood premieres...that I'm going to get proved wrong with what I thought about Straw Dogs previously. I've got no shame in saying that...there seemed to be a ramp up for it until about a month and half ago and then it just dropped off. The only thing I can think of is that the focus for him is now on True Blood..it still doesn't explain the sudden nosedive in mentions though.

It could be that there are things going on behind the scenes because of their relationship...but the reality is, actors, no matter how popular they are, just have to suck it up and do their job like the rest of us.They have a product to sell and they need to get out there and get bums on seats. In fact, they tend to do junkets and MORE PR when the movies really stink...
