Lars von Trier is pretty well known as an artistic headcase, so those comments while being illtimed and in bad taste will hopefully get overlooked if the movie is indeed how good I feel it will be.

agree - they expect LvT to be socially awkward to put it nicely. And this entry is probably his most commercial in ages (Bag and I were just discussing Antichrist, yikes), so I'm guessing they'll look at the art, not the controversy. It's part of the deal in working with him, which is his appeal to the actors that he pulls no punches. But he'll definitely get coverage from that presser, which is probably exactly what he wants.

Lots of activity going on, Nuttin new, lol so I reread the interview and it was stellar besides the obvious. It's good to hear him talking about stuff. There are alot of interesting points and intrigue in there too. I also looked back at the hawt pics and they are still on fire and so are my loins, as I stated nuttin new at least not for my loins. He always switch me on that's part of the reason why I am radioactive here again. But I didn't know that I still gave a rat's arse about him, Alexander. Go figure, I am going.. but I degree in his interview I still read a sad person in that tall bod of his. He always seem to me to be a bit lost and still looking for what, only he knows I guess. But I like this pic from the GQ shoot of him and his lips staring into and thinking about the beyond I guess, so I got inspired and I created an angelfairy for him she is there asking him what he wants and he is still thinking about it. I have yet to give her a name maybe he can come up with one. I hope she helps him on his way to whatever happiness he seeks.

I also want to show some love for Gangsta Gudrun I like the way she rolls, I would love to be in her wheel chair pose and while she getting much needed vitamins I will be sipping Apple juice. (I am not as hardcore as Gud) I do love Alex wit/humor he still tickles my elmo. heehee "She's over food," Really!! I guess all you need is good barley in your beer and you're good.

Yeah! There is NUTTIN great about rape on film or real life. NUTTIN

Just read the first reviews for "Melancholia" - basically says the first part (the wedding, and everything revolving around Kirsten Dunst) is brilliant including her acting which they say is "some of the best work she's done so far" - they don't say alot about Alex (his role is not huge in the movie) other than his character is very likeable and handsome.
The second part (the planet about to crush the earth) is more about Charlotte Gainsbourg's character, and while her acting is excellent, it's a bit long and not so convincing (well according to french critics, and it's well known they're not big on sci-fi)...
Then obviously, everything about the movie got drown into "the Controversy" with LVT pulling a "John Galliano". I'm pretty sure he is no nazi, he knows it's a touchy subject, so he presses all the buttons to make headlines - a stupid way to have a buzz about his movie (which doesn't contain scenes of self mutilation this time)...
