i appreciate itI keep hearing that he might have found another publicist within the same agency but that is just random talk. It would be good for him if he did because for someone who is so private, his publicist did a very bad job of controlling the various situations that tried to make his private life public. That is why I think that it was by design. Maybe not on his part but the two years that I lived in LA have led me to believe, without question, that celebs call the paps on themselves. I can see KB doing this.
As far as dating a HW actress, well if he has to choose someone other than meI would have to say...I can't really think of anyone. Perhaps Evangeline Lily from lost. She is very pretty and seems to not be caught up in fame.
Yeah, her and Kate are like two peas in a pod. And you would think being that Alex was her client and also paying her, she would want to try and make him happy. But it seems she only cares about doing that for Kate. I really do hope he finds someone else. Although he did a pretty good job of it alone.
No, please don't let this one happen. Sorry, I respect your opinion and yes she is very pretty, but I never did like her, she seems full of herself as well, even if she doesn't court the attention like KB.
I was thinking maybe Charlize Theron (only 1 year older) or Rachel McAdams. Both single and pretty private. Maybe even Keira Knightley. Okay she's only 25 and she's in a serious relationship, but she is an extremely private person and she's gorgeous and relationships don't always last. IDK, they are kind of my secret little ship. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Speaking of I wonder if Alex met her while his father was filming the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Stellan was there for a good while right?
Yea Stellan was but I don't know if the met. I met Charlize Theron before and I did not like her at all. I was at an event for a bunch of special ed kids (I use to teach) and she flat out refused to be photographed with any of them even though they were begging her. Plus, she is too tall. AS has said that he likes his women relatively short.
It was a move guaranteed to raise KB questions, I agree, but I'm not sure it was a direct thumbing of the nose. Hugh Laurie brought Stephen Fry with him to the Golden Globes his first year because he wanted his best friend with him and they're frequently seen out together. I have no idea why KB wasn't at the Emmys, but given that she wasn't, he needed to have someone to hang with, especially since he was tired and not up to doing a lot of networking. So many people mentioned how low key he was, mostly talking to Anna. We know he was singing Swedish songs with Bjorne way too late at the HBO party.On the other hand, I rather like the thought of Alex pooh poohing other suggestions of who to bring or just going solo and insisting on bringing his oldest friend. I think old and true friends are worth their weight in gold in anyone's life and especially in a shark tank like Hollywood.
Well said kit! And I think he also brought Bjorne as it is a great opportunity for his friend to network with Hollywood people. that and they just have a good time together!
Not to mention that while he'a guy, he's married and has kids, and anyone who bothers looking into it a tiny fraction is fully aware of that. That would be quite a stretch, to pin gay crap on him, right? I don't think it left any weird image at all. Better than to take some random woman just to start more relationship rumors. Or a single friend. Besides, didn't I read somewhere that he actually stayed with the Bjornes while he was trying to break into HWood? Giving him the chance to network a bit at such a huge event would be a nice way to give something back.
I think Alex won't get into a "relationship"-type situation for a little bit. He really seemed fed up. I expect him to have his known or unknown flings, but I seriously doubt he'll want to go through this again so soon. Obviously I have no clue what's on his head, wouldn't mind knowing though, lol.

Good points, all, esp why he brought Bjorne. He brought him to nearly everything last year, so I think he's used to doing that and didn't give it that much thought. It was significant that KB and Lisa did not make the afterparties though - that was what got all the rumors started. It's interesting how in one week's time, we were getting the coverage from the tabs of how tight they were, hanging out for a month in Sweden, taking those big steps forward of meeting the fam, etc to now almost universally all their usual sources have backed off and have them splitting. Esp the ones who used to be supportive of her, like HollywoodLife (who gave the vacation itinerary to start with) and PopSugar. And Twitter/FB has nothing but stories of her cheating on him. Ted C is probably right, I have this nagging feeling she'll be working hard to make sure it isn't totally over, but I am hoping he'll have so much work on his plate that he has no time to get sucked back into her web. Unless he believes this infidelity stuff because that would be one big dealbreaker (if you take at face value his earlier interviews where he said he doesn't have any tolerance for that either way). Oh, I so hope he's done with her. But I will miss Kateseviltwin if that's the case! 
I agree here. Especially if you consider that the only one still trying to support her is JJ and even their attempts sound pretty weak. Oh yes, how could I forget JJ - I think he was a) fanning the flames for sure and b) couldn't get any Battleship AS photos and was dying to print that stuff on the gay scene. He knows anything with both of their names in it automatically goes over 100 hits. If there is anyone who will mourn the end of this relationship, it will be him (unless he can hook up AS with his other attention-getter, Rachel Bilson). But even the posters over there, many of whom used to be plants to keep KB from being blasted completely, can't seem to drudge up any defense for their relationship being on this time around.
Yeah, but if it's a no-name like Rousseau, it won't be half as fun! And I'm not sure Twigs can bag anyone worthwhile after this. She looks too wrecked. Although I can suggest a list of possibles...she definitely needs to look for someone who has more of the famewhore gene. Which gives her a big field.
Oh I'm sure she will. That chick can't be without a man for long. How else would she remain relevant? Her amazing work? How well she takes care of herself? Her charitable causes?
I know! Her jewelry line! I read somewhere that her father works in fashion-related stuff. Who wants to bet daddy is helping his little princess out (not that I condemn this part, it happens everywhere to a smaller or greater degree - I am just snarky because it's her)? You know, so that she can have some sort of income.
