KB seems to be the flavor of the month kind of girl. She does not have any thing that remotely resembles individuality.
I like Bud. I like Flying Dog as well. Sam Adams is a bit smoother than bud. Its a darker brew. I like it.

OMG, are you serious? I've been following this blog for a while but I stopped and recently started again. I remember there were several pages on a past Askars thread that mostly discussed wines of choice. I think it was about organic wines or something. I really liked that friendly non-delusional-fangirl vibe where people could talk about things like that and also mention good books they've read, etc. I remember several people actually commented that this was one of the most interesting fan forums because of this.
I had no idea things had changed. But thanks for letting me know!

I know, right?! Heineken is so BLAH. It's a little bit bitter than most other beers and there's just nothing special about it.
Have you noticed that KB always drinks Heineken as well? I wonder if she does it to "mold herself" to whatever Alex likes or if this is her genuine beer of choice? Being whatever he wants might work at first but eventually it always backfires in a relationship. I think both people need to have a sense of who they are if there's any chance of it lasting. And KB doesn't seem to know who she is at all.
I'm a Budweiser kind of girl myself. Sometimes I'll drink Corona with some lime juice squeezed in. I've been meaning to try Stella Artois. I wonder if it's any good? And what's Sam Adams like? I've never tried that one.

I have to remember that phrase. It's a good one. The I'll-drink-whatever-he's-having is just a theory. It's possible that truly is her fave drink. But I wouldn't be surprised if she just molds herself to whatever she thinks he wants. I don't hate skinny minnie. I just think she's very strange and very fake. Like the type of girl who's more likely to be your frenemy than your actual friend.
Hollywood is supposedly filled with girls and even grown middle aged women like this. But Alex said in an interview that he didn't like the fake Hollywood types. I guess it's true what they say: don't knock it till you've tried it. Maybe he does like this type after all.
^^I hope that's not true about him liking the fake hw types. Otherwise I will lose all respect for him...then again, it seems that actors date other actors and even marry them...there isn't much else out there for them to meet...and you have to be artificial up to a point to make it...at least that's my opinion!

I think what you refer to is related to the following from Hollywood Life:

Although women approached him by the droves, he hung with a guy pal and sipped champagne."
Implication being, that any photo of him drinking is him 'drowing his sorrows re KB'.
And who really knows about that? I will certainly say that I don't. From the video and photo appearances, and the fact that he went to multiple parties, I guess you could assume he had a good night. So when people see him downing a bottle a beer, they make a crack about him trying to swallow his feelings re KB and her absence. Don't really know anything about that. I know you have stated several times that you don't think they're broken up - I actually don't know or think so either (not that I can't say that I or others hope so because of my own views on her). Unfortunately, given what we heard second-hand or see in photos doesn't incline anyone on his threads toward her postively. And frankly, I held that view loong before she ever took up with AS, but I'm one poster, not an army, so "you guys" is assuming to some degree.
My real guess? They aren't broken up. She wouldn't give up that quick, regardless of any arguments or disagreements or schedules they have. But I agree with Calypso that chastizing anyone here for sort of hoping they aren't together is going to draw fire. This is the AS thread - not KB. I kind of appreciate that we can live in our world here and not always have to balance out with what we think about her. Frankly, I'm not that far off personally from where Lainey G is on her view of KB - it's a tough sell. But - I'll say it again - this thread thrives on variety of opinions so I hope we keep getting them so we don't get caught up in a nonsense spiral....

Woah, apparently I'm not the only one who noticed Al Pacino's faux pas with Anna Paquin! I know he shook Stephen's and Alex's hands and I even think Alex might have been a little star strucked. But it was all over the internet how rude it was of him to give such an excessively long speech that cut into everyone else's time. Damn, Al Pacino took his sweet ass time with his acceptance speech! He just went babbling on and on like if he had no idea he was on live TV and being timed. When a big shot like him hogs all the time them the next little people that win after him have to cut down their speech in half which is extremely unfair for everyone else. It didnt go unnoticed, though. Its all over the internet how pompous he was! What an egomaniac.

Exactly! It's very possible he had a good time with Bjorne or atleast did the whole party hopping thing out of responsibility for having to show up and represent his tv show. A few of the gossip websites just want to create a story out of it by saying he was drowning his sorrows or whatever over their breakup. I do think things have gotten a little bit worse between them but that doesn't mean they're broken up.
But I think they're on their way towards that point, assuming they are still together.

Hi, I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd finally dive in.
I think they've broken up because she wasn't at the Puss premier and she wasn't at the Emmys. I wasn't surprised she missed the Puss premier since they had been having public screaming matches, and there were some damning photos showing how just unhappy they were--not just the angry-face ones, but also one where she was sitting by herself two tables away from Alex and his friends. But I figured it was a just a fight that would blow over. However, there has not been one single photo or sighting of them together since then.
And I can't imagine her not wanting to be at the Emmys, especially since she's in town. Just like I can't imagine Alex not wanting to take her since they've been dating for almost a year. That doesn't mean they couldn't get back together, but it sure looks like they're apart right now.
As for liking or not liking her: I didn't have an opinion when they first starting dating. But as I saw more and more of her, it became obvious she's the famewhore that everyone says she is. She kept dragging him to fashion events that I couldn't picture him wanting to attend on his own (great to talk about here, but not for him). He would be just as happy wearing Gap and watching soccer. I think she was just FWB and Alex decided that the benefits weren't worth the aggravation. They probably both figured more would eventually develop between them, but it's gone downhill for them, not up.
