I have been reading the forum for a few weeks, but have only just signed up.

Wanted to say that i don't understand why they just dont admit they are dating (or have broken up). i get people want private lives, but Anna and Stephen have admitted they were together (and are now married) and seem to also have a life.

I love Askars but do feel upset that he would be attracted to someone like KB. she's so thin, and there doesnt seem to be much in the way of personality. is it bad that it makes me love him less?

Remember when he was trying to sneak past the E reporter to get a beer? He said he was pretty jet-lagged and he needed to wake up. That would explain the look. Honestly he looked exhausted to me.

guys. i have this terrible feeling that askars left kb in sweden and he is going to go back to her because she announced to anyone with ears that she was going to sweden for amonth. i don't think she has been there for one month and besides she didn't get papped coming back and we would know because she always gets papped and someone would have mentioned seeing her. i just think she still there trying to force his family to like her and he's going back to meet her. i hope with all my heart that im wrong.

Welcome Meka !! It's not bad at all!! My lust for Askars has certainly diminished after he took up with Twiggy, sad but true !! I still think Askars is FREAKIN' HOT, but yeah...after taking off my rose colored glasses for all things Askars once he started dating Twiggy, who I also didn't think (according to Askars ) was the type of woman he would date, I DEFINITELY hadn't been having the same intensity of lust with him !! Now...ALL this being said...I STILL lust after Askars just had to realize he wasn't who or what I'd hope he was. This is my opinion !!

No worries Brownsugar - she's back in LA. She was at a photo shoot yesterday..and he's off to Hawaii I think this week.

That part would never happen. She would have come with him then returned with him if that were the case and she would have definitely have gone with him to the Emmys. A month was, as I take it, a figure of speech, I doubt she picked a calendar month or even 30/31 days, with Alex having to go to Hawaii soon (if he hasn't already).

The scary thing I found is if you take both their birthdays and do a love match they have a 94% compatibility based on their astrological signs. Go figure!

I don't believe in ANY of that stuff for a second. And just for $h!ts and giggles...I did quite a few relationships of those around me, my parents being one of them. They had a 96% campatibility...guess what? They've been divorced for about 25 years. I did my in-laws, they had a rating of about 54%...they were married for 40 years.

And even if that rumor of them eating out at a restaurant was true (in Sweden post Puss and yesterday in LA) there's one thing that guys like to do called "Dump You in a Public Place." That way there's no drama because you can't make a scene. Then she could have convinced him to meet up with her for "closure" PR ...whatever but he agreed only if it was in another public place. Again, so there could be no drama. Just my take. that's all.

Thank you for all your efforts!! Following Askars news is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. Not sure why I'm so captivated (never had a celebrity crush before) but I am and there it is.

On to the recent developments....


I totally agree that this is a strange relationship that's incredibly hard to read. Fauxmance, the real thing, or something in between. Personally, I think it's something in between. I think that they are/were probably enjoying each other to whatever degree, but they also were not oblivious to the career enhancement/publicity benefits that could come from their pairing and so they've been engaged in a bit of media manipulation. It appears she adores that game and while AS is probably not the famewhore she is, I can't imagine he is clueless to the whole process and as such, is not an innocent bystander. All celebrities attempt to manage their media exposure.

Which brings me to my belief that they haven't ended whatever relationship they are having. I think her not appearing at the Emmy's with him was the next round of, "Are they together, or not??" Once a couple confirmed as such, interest in them dies down a bit. However, throw in a potential break-up and people are interested again. It would appear that her not showing up with him at the Emmy's has garnered them more attention than if they had gone together. Plausible???

Don't want to rain on the parade but that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw that she was doing the photo shoot for her jewelery line. The fact that she has one coming out, now has gotten a bunch of free publicity.

I agree with this but most of her publicity is not that great. IF you read the tweets, blogs and such she is not well liked.

I do agree with you. It would make sense since he will not confirm the rumors in his interview when he was in Sweden regarding their "wahtever you want to call it". It seems that he wants people to wonder and keep guessing. It is part of a game, and if they are still together and she missed the Emmys because of some PR stunt, then shame on both of them. I am hoping that this is all dookie, and they have broke up. I do not see her missing an opportunity like the Emmys though, so time will tell. Question- If he did leave for Hawaii wouldnt there be some airport photos?

Agree that there is some real, some manipulation here, mostly on her part. You make a good point about the jewelry line - to cynical me, it's no coincidence that the jewelry line stylist and her 'good friend' ADC both tweeted about her jewelry line. KB can't do it herself and she fans the flames by this. Someone noted elsewhere that her "my new favorite pic cant' share it because I might get in trouble" was because Askars was in it (which I doubt, but that's more grist for the mill). Although no question, from his perspective, smart call to leave her out of the Emmy thing - it was a big night for him, he got great reviews, lots of really good interviews, etc. And no babysitting her and he looked like a super good TB castmate.

Time will tell - they can't have been tied to the hip for the last few months, esp for three weeks in Sweden and then just cut off, but I do think it is one of the oddest relationships ever. She definitely needs him more as his star is rising with every magazine cover. BTW, where is this darn jewelry line going to sell? QVC? Can't wait.

I totally agree that she is not well liked at all. But that sort of a perplexing thing as well in regards to her "celebrity" status. Despite being a terrible actress, despite the intense dislike of her that comes across from people on blogs, forums, etc. she still manages to get these 'gigs' like the jewelery line. Is it hers? Is it something she's put her name on? Who believes she's popular enough for her name to sell this stuff ergo back her?

I guess what I'm saying is KB is this big weird question mark and seems to follow the rule no publicity is bad publicity. Even though it's mostly all negative, it seems to be enough to keep her hanging on in (albeit by a thread) in celebrityverse.
