Hi, ladies. I used to post here a while ago but I completely lost the username and password so I recently registered all over again. I've tried to keep up with ya'll but I've missed quite a lot! I was here way back when Blueberry used to post but I wasn't a regular poster.

My name's Jane but everyone that knows me calls me Janey. I'm assuming you all watched the Emmy's? :sunnies

The Dumb ***** of the Day award might go to Kate Bosworth for pushing ASkars' Swedish meatballs out of her life.

Oh, I know it is very probable that none of this gossip on the interwebs today is true...but I have to admit...I'm going to enjoy every morsel of it. It's nice to see the masses being full on Askars fans...I haven't read anything today that said "Bad call, Alexander...what a loss!" I feel vindicated for my mean-girl antics. For now.

Yeah, the silence is deafening. I'm sure Joan's on Third is making special sandwiches for the next few days, hoping before he hops off to Hawaii they will broker some public appearance. is too damn fun. Even if it might crush us in the end, it's been two days of pure good fun.

:rofl::roflmfao::lolots: I wonder what the sandwich filling will be. Perhaps Swedish meatballs with gravy and lingon berry sauce.

Wassup Janey, good to have you back. Didn't see the Emmy's. It's not broadcast in the UK, as far as I know.

Ouch, that's bloody harsh. If it is true about the break-up, then I do feel sorry for the both of them. Breaking up is never easy and in some cases devastating. Of course I won't deny that I will do a little celebratory dance if they have parted ways. I'm still not convinced though.

Haha, it's funny how Bjorne is always the date. He's seated right between Anna & Alex at the beginning of the video.

And it didn't it seem kinda akward how Pacino shook Alex & Stephen's hand but completely ignored Anna even though she's the one who announced him as the winner? :confused1:

Don't know if it's been posted but this is the compliation of all the Alex/Anna/Stephen clips throughout the ceremony. Bjorne is at the very beginning and Pacino at about the 3:40 mark:

^I disagree, I think it means a lot. Don't forget the Puss premiere and after party she missed as well. Their relationship has definitely gone through some soft of transformation, whether she's completely gone or not I can't say. I do know something has changed. She would never purposely miss an event as important as the Emmy's...not to mention she's laying so low right now. I'm hoping she's hiding out licking her wounds. Glass half full!

I feel exactly the same way. Something seems weird between KB and Alex.

Perhaps he told her that he was fed up with her human pr machine ways and that he wanted her to keep a low profile for a while. Perhaps he's still pissed about the 'Go Eff Yourself' episode in Gothenburg. Who knows?! I never really thought that he is the one wearing the trousers in their relationship.

Also, OT.....Temple Grandin just made me teary eyed. My son has Asperger's just like her, so I have read everything she's written and watched almost all of her lectures about autism education...so I know she isn't a hugger...and she totally just hugged people when they won.

Is this the same woman that has autism that is trying to help America's factory farms to better care for livestock? She's supposedly trying to change the way that meat factories slaughter cows and change how they're treated during their lives before slaughter? I think I remeber hearing her name was Temple Grandin. If so I have to see this movie! What an amazing woman. And in true Hollywood fashion, how funny that they got the sophisticated Claire Danes to play her in the movie even though in real life Temple is a rugged cowgirl.

I would say 90% of all slaughter-houses in the United States use a system inspired by the original design of her. The whole process is pretty morbid, but she did a fantasic job with it all...check it out, for sure. Claire did really well with it too.
