Happy Wednesday!
Someone remembered that she has another non leather bag that sits around in the wardrobe most of the time.

And as that bag is way too expensive for just sitting around I dragged it out.

I took out the speedy dentelle for about a week then my vintage Marc Jacob’s caught my eye and now I’ve moved in…for now

Happy Saturday everyone!
As it has become quiet on the island I have come up with a little game for us.
A few days ago I wanted to post that I am very proud not getting a new bag for 6 months now. Well … Massaccesi is closing down his business and now there is a last chance for a final order. My sister and a friend want to get something and I am also contemplating.
But, as I do not really feel the urge to get a new bag I am undecided.
Therefore a list of the bags I have in mind. For better comparison all in taupe - although I would get the bag in tan.

Bouquet
That bag would work probably best for work as it is quite big. But, it is kind of similar to the three Aphrodite bags I already own.

Width at base: 13.4” (cm. 34)
Height: 14.2” (cm. 36)
Bottom depth: 5.5” (cm. 14)

Diva
This reminds me of LV Noe. Had this bag on my radar for a while, but always shied away as bucket bags can be pretty impractical. But, it is the only bag style that I do not own, yet.

Width: 11” (cm. 28)
Height: 9.8” (cm. 25)
Depth: 5.1” (cm. 13)

Astra
I love the look. But is it too small? Definitely more of an evening bag, but I am not really out and about in the evening.

Top width: 10" (cm. 25,5)
Max. width: 12.2” (cm. 31)
Height: 8.3” (cm. 21)
Depth: 4.7” (cm. 8,5)

Charlotte Satchel
Love the look! Very elegant. But also wondering about practicability. It has a top zipper and messenger strap. Have to say not a fan of the way the messenger strap is adjusted, though.

Width at base: 12.8” (cm. 32,5)
Height: 10.2” (cm. 26)
Bottom depth: 5.9” (cm. 15)

On to the styles that I already own.

Charlotte

I like my dark green C. But, often it is too small for my needs.

Width at base: 12.6” (cm. 32)
Height: 9.4” (cm. 24)
Bottom depth: 3.5” (cm. 9)

Selene
I have two. I used to use them tons, but that has dwindled down thanks to all the other bags I own. At the moment I count them under the category „neglected bags“.

Height: 10.8” (cm. 27,5)
Top width: top 15” (cm. 38)
Base width: 13.4” (cm. 34)
Depth: 5.9” (cm.15)

Well. Yes, these are the bags. What do you think?
And: should I really get one? Or is being undecided like that a sign, that I should not buy anything.

If you decide to get one of those, Ludmilla, I think the Diva would be the best choice. I like its proportions especially.
On the other hand, it’s a design you don’t own yet. I have a Noé and if I know I will have to open it several times during the day, all I have to do is loosen the drawstring. Access will become as easy as a tote bag…;)

Thank you, Mariapia. I am definitely leaning very strongly towards the Diva. The Noé is a design that I really like seeing out and about in the streets. And at this point I should really not add bags similar to designs I already have. :)
