Ages of Coach lovers

I'm 27, and my mom is largely the reason I love Coach. She's 57, and while she doesn't buy as much as she should, she's definitely a Coach lover. We used to go shopping at the Marshall Fields on State street around Christmas when I was a kid, and I remember so clearly seeing her fawning over the Coach bags, and then sighing that they were just too expensive. Really made an impression on me. ;)

20, and it all started last year really when my aunt took me shopping...I had loved purses before then, but, as a teenager w/ no $, I always bought guess and such...thanks to my aunt (and now my mom!) I'm a coach fanatic! lol

I am 34. I got my first Coach bag when I was 20 (a black leather Station Bag). Soon after that I bought a Willis Bag and then I strayed off the designer bag path for quite some time. I started buying designer purses again when I was around 30/31, mostly Coach at first and then Kate Spade. Over the past few months I have went back to admiring Coach bags since so many new cute bags have come out. I like the black on black signature as well as black leather. I sold most of my Coach bags while I was hooked on Kate Spade and so I am now rebuilding my collection.

I'm 36. My Coach addiction started only a little over a year ago when I saw a woman carrying a Soho soft duffle. I had been looking everywhere for a nice-looking, decent-sized cross body bag and it looked perfect. I went home and managed to figure out that it was a Coach bag...then hemmed and hawed for ages about buying one. I kept looking at it on the website but it seemed like too much money. Then just as I decided I wanted it, it disappeared from the website! I was pretty sad but then....last fall I went into my favourite consignment store and there it was! It was a bordeaux-coloured suede one from an outlet. Someone had just brought it in. It was in perfect condition, still had the suede care kit and everything. So I grabbed it and loved it even more than I had thought I would. And now I'm addicted :D .

That's a great story! I love being reminded that people enjoy these products the same way I do. I bought my first Coach bag (a Legacy slim duffle) a year and a half ago because I needed a new bag and never found one that worked right for me. After several $50 bags that weren't quite right, I gave in and took the plunge, bought the bag that was perfect for my needs even though it was 5x what I would usually have spent. I've been hooked ever since!
